Ok, my problem is that when i press R then there is a lot f HISSSS coming out of the speakers, what should I do? What settings do I need to change? In all youtube videos everything is explained like it's so simple but noone seems to be making tutorials including all the problems you may have when setting it up. I am using iMAC,Logic 9, Rode NT1-A and Saffire 6 soundcard. Help.

Great setup Joseph - please post some of your recordings! I'm interested in the BAE 1023 in particular. I'm currently shopping for a solid state pre like a 1073, but I might prefer the added EQ frequencies on the 1023
