sanctuary didn't change there name, they split up in 1991 still under the name sanctuary and dane, sheppard, and loomis went to form a band named nevermore

Rick Rubin was working with called
Nevermore at the cat club 1988 or 89
when the new york nevermore split up
Sanctuary changed there name to nevermore. This is fact!

hmm... well you can find live videos of Nevermore from 1992 where Warrel Dane is clearly stating "Sanctuary is Nevermore!"
