  • is it really unnatural that a tt specialist would continue to gain speed in a TT position? if you look at his acceleration his hands are in the center of the bars the whole time, right where a TT guy would keep them. hes not hitting buttons hes just moving his hands to keep circulation flowing, keeping his fingers relaxed so they dont cramp up, after a few hours in the saddle i move my hands on the bars too and i only wish i had motors to keep me going

  • i´ve seen this on tv, this "equipment" cost around 1200 euro and is put into the bike like in this video, thats not fake, thats real

  • And I'm sure nobody would hear this thing. This guy's a waste of skin.

  • Right...on a bike stand with no load. Assuming these break aways required an 80 watt advantage ( 1/10th HP ), you'd need a 1/10th HP battery powered electric motor that fits in a seat tube. Problem is, any motor that small in size will have to turn at approximately 1,600 RPM while drawing 1.3 continuos amps at 180 volts. Won't work with the gears shown here. Here's the kicker, it would only generate .6 pounds of torque. What's the torque spec for your seat post? Bullshit! Case closed!

  • Even if you could secretly motorize a bike like this, the added weight would actually slow you down in the end if you weigh the cost/benefits... Consider the short battery life on a device like this... This is a hoax and a lie.

  • @NicolasCoolestVideos Nice job ripping this video from another downloader. You are a piece of crap \

  • @pdp110 at least he has a video with 75k views

  • it would never have enough power to run for long enough

  • Bravo !!!....bike needs the Red bull too !!!

  • If Cassani says he could win a stage of the Giro D'-Italia with it don't, put so much pressure on him. Let's just see a video of him riding around the block I'll bet anything he can't get to 10 kHr with his feet off the pedals. Like he says it goes by itself, have him prove it.

  • This is all bullshit and an insult to everyones intelligence. You can clearly hear the noise the engine is making in the video. Are you telling me tha Boonen couldn't hear it when he rode right past him. Or the bunch in Paris-Roubaix is deaf.

  • What a bunch of crap.

  • Ja ja ja que verguenza pero si parece una moto, y casi ni balancea la bici con la de potencia que tendria que estarle dando a este tipo que le descalifiquen de por vida por listo.

  • frustated fools

  • damn, if you even consider to believe this you're just retarded. he is just changing gears man..

not being able to deal with the fact he is super fast isn't a way of justifying these kind of jokes.. man, get out, this video is a rip off!!!!!!

  • @kerelwtf

I agree it's most probably just a bullsh**, but technically its possible.

  • @homokladin

well, I'm not sure if it's possible.. the way it's installed could work,

but they didn't mention any energy source for the engine and I don't really

think a small engine like that can actually produce enough horsepower and

    torque to accelerate that fast!

And the fact is, if it would be possible, those bikes would

    be enormously popular xP

but anyway, like you said, it's probably just bullsh**

  • Does anyone suspected anything when Lance climbed big mountains just like a... motorbike?

  • WELL GUYS nice project work for college

but @lest show ur own face why cancellara he is huge what can he do in it if there is some magic button where is wiring if its hidden there has to be some alteration done in the bike

  • Bullshit man. When you say he pushes the button, he just changes gear. and he's accelerating sitting on his saddle, because he is a timetrailer.

    Fuck cassani

  • video with physical analysis of Roubaix attack and bike changes /watch?v=S4lq5lewHrU

  • Dammit, what a load of crap...... how can anybody take this video seriously.... if someone is convinced that this was used by Fabian Cancellara to win the Paris - Roubaix 2010.... then i would like to sell you som Sahara desert sand too.. IDIOTS

  • Cancellara may be crawling on is belly and smiling after seeing this video.

Some of my friends can do the same type of accelerations. If you want to use them as examples, please contact me. I will show you were you can put your motor.

  • i am interested in other systems too! have you any information on these? thanks!

    paul

  • This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. Every sane person can tell this is a hoax. The front sprocket gear changer is located on the right side on the handle bars - so it's perfectly normal movement for for Cancellara to chage gears as he accelerates. ANY PERSON riding a bike with derailer gears knows this.

  • Really do you think he did this i would make his bike so heavy wouldint it?

  • @lueckbullet Ofcourse not, accelartors don't make that much a noise cause it's human powered

  • what a cheater

  • true polwindey..although the 'gruber' indeed make lots op noise and actually don't fit all bikes .

There are more brands with less friction/noise . The ones used in this sport is even more powerfull and very high-tech

  • I am riding my bicycle now for 1 year with that motor: delivers 100 watt for 1 hour, thats 5-6 km/hr more! pitty that it is so noizy...

engine is for sale at gruberassist in austria

i bought mine in Belgium via electrischefiets.be

    great fun!

  • @polwindey I would like to know what the cost was for yours? seems like a fun thing to try out on a sunny day

  • @gdamnn

the gruberassist system costs 1700 euro (pretty expensive for what it is...); if you buy a bike with the engine inside it cost up to 3000 euro.

    Paul

  • @polwindey thx for the answer. Yeah too expensive for me
