I got the US release version of this game and it is totally buggy broken and unplayable.

The US version of the first game "First Battalion" was really fun though. I don't know how they managed to fuck up Dunes of War so bad.

The Maus had a 158mm main gun, with a coaxial 76mm gun. and 4 mg34s. It was 40% larger than a Tiger 1. So if the infantry thought that the Tiger 1 was huge and intimidating, I would not have wanted to be holding a rifle and ordered to charge one of these monsters.

You really have to take time into consideration. Meaning some tanks were built to sand up to others, and others were built to dominate the field, because nothing had yet been built that could sand up to them. Take the Tiger 1 and the IS2 for example. When the russians saw that the T-34 could not sand up to the Tiger they produced the IS2. Then Germans made the King Tiger. Later if the war had continued the Allies would have had to face the largest tank of the war. The Maus.

I think the best tank was the Sherman Firefly had a 17-pounder Anti-tank gun.. And i also like the M7 Priest which had a 105mm Howitzer... Those are my rwo favorite tanks (even though there probably not in this game).. :P

But i will respect your opinon, in my case the best tank of world war two was by far the Panther. The A, D, G models only.

and to put in a number 2 and 3 spot.

The panther always broke down along with a lot of late german tanks. Not the best tank in my opinion.

the first models broke down very often because were brought into action in a rush...see the Kursk Battle, were Hitler needed many tanks so the germans used types that were not fully developed...but overall Panther was the best medium tank of the war...better than the T-34
