Close but no cigar, theres no one like Clare Torry, think about it, she was asked to improvise a vocal to music and to just think about death, life and love. Clare pulled it off like no one else can because every one else has what she did to go by. But all and all a good performance by Sharon Fatoorechi.

1st: As a lifelong lover of "soul music," I have to say this is the deepest piece of utter and absolute soul music that I know of.
2nd: This is definately a White woman's song. I've only heard one Black woman who could pull it off.
3rd: I'd love for Chaka Khan to give her best to save the reputation of Black women as soul singers.
4th: To hear Karen Carpenter "getting throaty" between going high on this. I've never heard any singer who could really dig into deep tones for this.

She's not bad, just the original is naturally better. She's even one of the best at singing this, for most of the cover of the Great Gig are pure shit. Don't be too harsh, consider it is just a cover.

This lady sucks. She's nearly off timing half the whole song and she makes a mockery of hitting those high notes. Must remember to tell her to stop taking those testosterone pills and somehow gain some more estrogen.

Close but no cigar, theres no one like Clare Torry, think about it, she was asked to improvise a vocal to music and to just think about death, life and love. Clare pulled it off like no one else can because every one else has what she did to go by. But all and all a good performance by Sharon Fatoorechi.
