Did you actually need the entire mirror? Why couldn't you just buy the glass?

@MediaCholo I had to buy the entire mirror b/c I *crushed* the entire mirror frame and broke the glass inside. It wasn't just the glass that was broken, but the casing as well.

@Derflaggenhooven My glass came off when a piece of flying debris hit my car, but I'm not sure if I only need the glass or the entire mirror. Nothing else is broke.

Wow! This video is fantastic. Just broken off my mirror, it's dangling by the wires. After an initial half hour of cursing, I feel I can do this myself. Derflaggenhooven - where did you order your mirror from? They must have a choice of mirrors that match the factory paint right? Or do they need to be painted to match?

Where did you get the replacement mirror? There are a ton of online providers - wasn't sure if you had a preferred place.

@EMILITO06 - The replacement has the turn signal as well. When you connect the electrical wire harness between the door and mirror, you're effectively connecting the power to adjust the mirror, as well as to enable the turn signal.
