@Hakkai87 Actually, Battlestar Galactica couldn't sue. They licensed the BG footage legally since it was cheaper and easier to license old TV footage than to actually create their own special effects.
This was the first movie that I remember seeing them do when I was younger! For some reason, the gas grill riff at 1:15:08 is the first joke I heard that I remembered, as well.
@MizzBeAuTiFulHK-The company that made this movie used ALOT of the old footage etc it was a big time staple for low budget studios to use those kind of tatics
