What a waste of 9:46 mins of time...Dude, do the comparison and save us your dribble on and on...You are talking to people who are sorta clued in about lighting already.
Hi there, great video. i live in Brisbane Australia and would like to know where you bought the lights from? asa they are way to expensive to buy here.
PS, correct..no relay nec. Also, yes it will double the output to 2600L but it doesnt double the Lux (throw) or what some people incorrectly call candlepower. LED's have the least amount of throw compared to incandescent and HID formats but they are way more efficient and provide smoother, broader beams. Regarding the 170's, same thing there, double the lumens..about 2300L each but not double the lux. Doubling the lux generally takes 4x the amount of identical light arrays of a given type.
I haven't actually investigated these yet but I was curious if they list the color temperature? Seems like a very good product. I really like these equipment vids buddy!
@Patriot36 thanks, i havent seen any temp for these, the 25ft shots show more blue, and if you look at the 50ft shot they are whiter, but you'll notice a yellow ring toward the outside, I will get better pics later
dude thats awesome. your having to much fun with those lights. i would love six of them for my truck. 2 backups, 1 each side, 2 front. the weather protection on it is very nice. the magnet idea was very cool.
I could see keeping the magnet mounts, and setting them up so you have enough wire to relocate them to point about anywhere. Very cool. After watching the vid showing performance, I would consider LED's now. Thanks for sharing.
@beast12101 Thieves, I didn't think of that. People can suck. I guess if get them for the the FJ, will mount them so they can swivel to the side. When I get to the roof rack, I can just mount some permanently, so I can light up 360 by switches. Again, thanks for sharing, I probably would have passed on LED if you hadn't made this.
To much talk

@IronRangeSurvival yeah Iv have kept them on the magnets, they only downside is they would be easy to steal, I have to take them off when not in use

Nice lights. I have been looking at these for awhile. Is there enough wire to reach the rear of the vehicle?
BORN2LOSE13 1 year ago
@BORN2LOSE13 probably not, it depends on the vehicle, but its easy enough to extend
