The Asphalt games were popular because the first 2 game that were on original n-gage,ds,psp were pretty damn good but the series went downhill since then
i just looked up asphalt 2 on the classical n-gage here on youtube. the gameplay and graphics are much better than that of the second generation n-gage title.

ugh. HD my ass. gameloft games are one of the laggiest games around. even the asphalt series is a complete waste. i wonder why it is so popular
