Off-road capibitly and speed are two different things. The fact that street tuned vehicle with street tires actually moved on a surface which is has such little traction is pretty impressive if you ask me. And thats a task the vogue(pre-terrain response) failed to do( search "who said range rovers were good off road" and you will know what im talking about)
@tonymorris1991 Not true. It would do just as bad if it had the same wheels and driver who doesn't know anything about off-roading. I'm a Land Rover fan but most 4x4s could do what the Sport done (or attempted to do) if it had the right wheels and knowledgeable driver. It would also help if he put it in the correct setting: mud ruts.
A set of BFGoodrich All terrains and a manual gearbox (when there's no traction, a skilled driver can do miracles with a clutch pedal), and that thing will climb trees. But that's what the Defender's for, isn't it? Or an old Range, like my 1970's one ;)
you see, its a beautiful and very nice suv. but if you look at peole who own one - most of them are cocks. those "look at me" young arabs or celebrities. There is not Btitishness left in it anymore. therefore, will all my due respect, i wouldnt buy one cos it doesnt suit my personality. Something subtle would do
lol yeah he went right past the mud setting, i mean i know 4 wheel drive is 4 wheel drive... but on a vehicle like that how it sends the power to the wheels can be a big difference when u set the "electronic gadgetry" wrong...lol

a range rover sport is more for the city roads, now a vouge would have done well in this test.

@IndyenRtist nope. neither the sport or the vogue come in 3 row (7 seat) seating.. only the discovery 3 and 4 comes in this arrangement.
jaydenr89 1 year ago
@IndyenRtist The LR3 or the newer version of the LR3 which is the LR4.
ultimateoffroader 1 year ago
@IndyenRtist Nope the Ranger Rovers, you have to have the Discovery for that I believe.
