@LexiMaeOwner Bruce Smith missed substantial time that season with a knee injury. There were whispers among the media that the reason Bruce was out was due to a drug problem and not the injury. A reporter brought that up to Marv and this video was his reaction.

True, his tenure as a GM was not a complete success, but in 2 years he did get some gems (directly and indirectly) that are key players on the current Bills roster... Fred Jackson ('06 rookie free agent), Kyle Williams ('06 5th round pick) whom the Bills got from the Texans for Eric Moulds, Bryon Scott ('07 free agent), and because of the '07 trade with the Eagles - Spikes+Holcomb for Walker and '08 conditional pick, the Bills drafted Stevie Johnson with that '08 pick in the 7th round.

I have watched several vids on Marv Levy and watched many Bills games when younger. He seems like a total class act and one hell of a football coach and person. Buffalo has nothing to be ashamed of they should have won the 1st one and they totally dominated their half of the NFL for the better part of a decade!
