Not many people put neck straps on when using medium format cameras, or rangefinders. It's much easier to wear one with an SLR.
Who would anybody call a girl a dumb shit just because she's new to the camera? If I showed you a Leaf medium format camera, you probably wouldn't know either right? (crazy pinwheel of doom on the Leaf)
I'd have to say I'm jealous of the man at photokina, but eventually I'll use a professional medium format camera.

GOOD GOD!!!! the strap was put on there so you don't drop the damn thing!!! But I guess when your a rich little kid you don't have to worry about dropping something that is worth a house payment....

Hahah, dude, relax. I'm guessing that most of the users were content using the manual setting which produced more reliable results since the lighting was very even anyway and I think this was her first day with the camera.
