I love Akira, but why is Jack always such a pussy. When are they gonna pump him up a bit. He is such a cool character, and he is constantly under utilized-- he was that way if VF4 most of all (then Evo was better)
Because the Jacky Player was garbage as hell. Jacky can now net much more damage off of MC moves than he could before. He Has dream combos that require the flash and skill because they are very damaging. His chip damage inside and outside fighting range is incredible. Akira is Strong yeah but he lack a full circular so it is very easy to evade his moves and be patience for is openings. Akira throws are not very damaging compare to Jacky's but his ring out capability is crazy.
Your welcome My man. you just have to understand the nature of VF. Also his 2k+g on MC can land 60 damage and go under mids. this level his low attacking game drastically and make facing shun even.
In VF4 Jacky was a demon. I could sit here and explain to you all the option he had after PP. to put it simply in VF5R off of 4,6k (Groin kick) MC he can net 72 damage. So in R you will need to know and use his Iageri kicks. I suggest you check Takeshimono channel and see how a good jacky plays with damaging combo's.
I agree that that jacky player was prob one of the worst I seen but I do feel that Akria in R is much stronger then Jacky is in R
