@yuridiaprivado Well, think about it... There is this procedure called cutting the wings used in small farms on different birds (mostly chickens) to prevent them from flying out. It involves cutting about half the feathers from each wing. Thus the birds won't fly out. In Alucard's case, the Control Art Restrictions implemented by Arthur Hellsing and probably Abraham himself have the same effect, only that in Alucard's case, the "wings" can grow back whenever his master wishes it.

Well Rip Van WInkle is singing Das Wild in Fluren und Triften from Der Freischutz and I think the song playing afterwards is O diese Sonne from the same Opera. The idea is that Rip Van WInkle's fate is ironic, considering he is to meet the same fate as his namesake, at the hands of Alucard, playing the part of Zamiel.

People don't understand that the English voice acting is even praised by KOHTA HIRANO himself, the creator of this epic and most enjoyable OVA and manga, it was MADE to be English, as stated by one of the producers of the OVA, and yet you let biased opinions over-rule your heading.
