@WhiteDeVil3 Kind of, but in an old version of Hungarian, I don't really know which time period it was used in first.

@WhiteDeVil3 I don't know what "regő rejtem" means. It is an old hungarian phrase which was used by the shamans to fall in a trance. The word "rejtem" means that I conceal (or hide) something but in this phrase it is meaningless. The "regölés" is a hungarian tradition while the young boys are visiting the village and they are singing at every house. The refrain of the songs is "hej, regő rejtem". There is a hungarian name "Regő" but I think it cames from the word.

Szerintem a névvel nem is az a fő problem, hogy angol, hanem hogy az ember a hallatán rögtön valami tucat-giccs-folkot képzel el. :D  Ez pedig nem is állhatna ennél távolabb a valóságtól.

Wow, I cannot translate it for you, may be I am wrong but In Hungary there are songs called regős songs, which are traditional songs, but i cannot say it in english words.

Yes, it is tradtitional, a kind of folk music if I am right. It's a ritual hungarian music, you can see the "regösök" in winter, when young men go to young women, it's a kind of salutation. But I am not sure if this song can be related with the "regös" traditins in Hungary. But now you know what is regö :P
