  • @sawiola55 this is just your oppinion . I , for example, love all scorpions songs :D . It's just a matter of taste :D

  • @TheFullShadow

i love 70's scorpions !! virgin killer,in trance, fly, taken by force and of course tokyo tapes amazing !! yeah in the 80's the had too good songs ! :d

  • WAT A SOLO, GRET 80S METUL, LUV THA SYNTH!

  • Black Sabbath ( Brasil Heavy metal )

  • Black sabbath é vida

  • Underrated band. Calling it "Black Sabbath" was a bad idea.

  • Sound quality is bad here

  • tony martin shit black sabbath rules he is a great vocalist with them

  • Great song!

  • Sabbath albums with Tony Martin should have sold millions, especially Tyr..great songs, great vocals!

  • tony martin awsom

  • Tony Martin is simply sensational !!!

  • OZZY !

  • If you don't like this song, then you're not a Heavy Metal fan. Sad to say.

  • HD vid! Yeah!

  • Terrible.

  • Love tony voices

  • Tony Martin had a GREAT voice...

  • Training magnificent, spectacular guitar solo

  • So? The 80s rocked, it's clearly the last good decade in music.

  • @reclaimerReclaimer clearly. :/

  • Very 1980's sounding but still a fuckin' good track.

  • @spiderjerusalem100 As if there's something wrong with "1980s sounding"...

  • and people think this is satanic music. lol

  • Tony and Ronnie the best voice of black sabbath!!!!!!

  • Απο τα αγαπημένα μου συγκροτήματα και μια απο τις καλύτερες φωνές του tonny and dio

  • I always saw Tony "Cat" Martin as "Ozzy Deluxe." Talk about classic metal.

  • R.I.P. COZZY POWELL

  • Stupid theme .. headless cross

  • @mardinieng

    ignorante no manches el metal

  • tony he does rule

  • Tony rules!

  • He cant reproduce his performance live... strong voice in studio, but live...

    sad

  • I just can't see how Tony get's such heavy sounds out of 8 & 9 gauge guitar strings. WOW! Great sound.

  • The voice is one of the pie's piece... In my opinion, Ozzy had also the personality to be there...

  • @tuxxx777 I hate them. so what about u?

  • I see a bit of Dio in him...and that's great! Still, Dio is better (my opinion doesn't depend on Dio's death)

  • In my opinion Tony Martin is a better vocalist then Ozzy. Only I like the ozzy songs better for the instrumental part.

  • sure but the young ozzy was just impoossible to imitate the young one sure not the oathetic old rich man he is now

  • i love this its old black sabbath sound great.

  • Im new to this side of sabbath never knew that sabbath had other singer than ozzy or dio !! this song is so evil !! love it !! 0_0 coming from the words of a christian !! ;) the voice and everything !! wooow

  • @jrlajara Check out "Danger Zone" a great song with Glenn Hughes as vocalist with Sabbath

  • @jrlajara Make sure to look at the forbidden album. Forbidden and Headless Cross are the best albums without ozzy/dio.

  • there is no escaping from the power of satan

  • beatiful and manly voice

  • I love Sabbath with Ozzy & Dio. I really like this also but this isn't Black Sabbath - it's a Sabbath tribute act in my opinion or the Tony Iommi Band. Oh, and I nearly laughed my head off (no pun intended) at Tony Martins' mullet haircut & leather jacket. Death to false metal :-)

  • But - anyway. Nice song.

  • @erioth587 Ha Ha!

  • It's more like judas priest than like black sabbath. Sabbath with Ozzy and Bill was the best metal band ever. Awesome sound of Iommi's guitar, very climatic drums and bass and ozzy's simple vocal behind this.

Sabbaths in music is like Heroine in drugs.

  • Dear "Black Sabbath", Since "Ozzy Osbourne" Still Has His Head Up His Butt, Just Forget About Him And Get "Tony Martin" Back In The Band!!! ;)

  • great song!

  • A criminally underrated Sabbath album.

  • I hadn't heard any Tony Martin era Sabbath before today and he's actually a good rock vocalist. The drum and guitar sound are a bit too 80's for me though.

My favourite Sabbath singer is Dio.

  • Best non-ozzy/dio sabbath song!

  • black sabbath...deep purple...led zeppelin...THE TRINITY

  • @vladzorpimp

that's right purple ! not acdc

  • 44 freakin homosexualist

  • Comment removed

  • Tony Martin aside from Dio is probably the best singer hands down in Black Sabbath. If you listen to Tony's lyrics they are full of dark mystery and thought compelling subjects whereas Ozzy is just pure hardcore heavy rock. Dio had his mystical spirits and demi-gods but Tony Martin adds a distinct story line of hardship, the evils of men and the terrible sacrifices that others make so that people can live on. I deeply respect Tony Martin's work as SECOND to Dio's with Third being Ozzy the clown.

  • Wouldn't it be more correct to call this Tony Iommi solo?

  • @Seidhepriest hell no, this Black Sabbath era was bloody awesome

  • @Seidhepriest tony is all you need to have a great sabbath

  • Tony Iommi & Geezer Butler should go on tour with Tony Martin and either get Bill Ward or Bev Bevan on drums who played on the Born Again tour. Ronnie would want them to continue...

  • @TrueRocker100 - Great comment. That would be a stellar band, truly stellar. Call the band Headless Cross or Eternal Idol or something. They'd get a lot of flack but who cares, it'd be a great band!

  • @TrueRocker100 Ronnie live in us all!!

  • This album is great.

    Cozy Powell makes the difference.

  • Master piece

  • Ok tony iommi should hold the title of black sabbath name

  • My favorite song and album by Sabbath. As blasphemous as it may sound, Tony Martin really was the band's best vocalist. No disrespect to the late great RJD.

  • martin had a great voice , now ... he can't pull out much of a live performance

  • @thefreak013 DIO!

  • My favourite Sabbath vocalist and one of my favourite Sabbath songs ,but I bloody hate this video . It looks like something Heart would do

  • thumbs up if you think youtube was way better back in 2006 ..

  • Very good!

  • They must form a parallel project called HEADLESS CROSS, record a new album, and go out for a tour! Just like was made with Heaven & Hell project band. Maybe Hughes can play the bass with them and, off-course, a good drummer like Appice...

    We need these songs today!

  • damn i misse the 90's-80's-70's

  • I love the photography on this video. Those monk-like figures silhoutted by the mist and carrying flames especially. Tony Martin is arguably the next best thing to Dio (RIP). I think Tony Martin should "step up" again and do a tour just as Dio did before he passed away. Because, I for one would love to show my appreciation for Tony Martin who I believe is on par with the best of Black Sabbath. This album is an absolute classic. Brian May, Tony Iomi & Tony Martin. Doesnt get any better than this!

  • @Stealthkeys77 Tony Martin did do a Headless Cross tour a few years ago. Unfortunately, he has made numerous statements that he doesn't want anything more to do with Sabbath ever since they shafted him during the reunion with Ozzy in 1999. So that bridge is already burned. But i agree, if they ever did get back together and tour again, it would be awesome!

  • I love his fantastic voice

  • I sense a share of Dio influence in his singing

  • i should not call this black sabbath more like tonys solo album even if it sounds amazing good

  • I like Dio and Tony Martin for Black Sabbath, not Ozzy definlly NO!

  • Dio was 10000 times best than Tony, Ozzy or all anothers... Dio the best singer of all

  • Tony Martin did good!

  • TRUE Sabbath Lunatic.........I love this!........Not OLD Sabbath, or as Brutal as the Dio era, but Fantastic......Most people don't realize Tony put out some great music w/o Ozzy or Ronnie.......The man is a Genius.......

  • Why do many people Don't even speak of Sabbath's Cozy Powell / Tony Martin Era ??? Sabbath was always great but to me this era was the most mature and musical one !!!!

  • I really hate it when people underrate Sabbath's Cozy Powell/Tony Martin era !!!!! Both where extremely talented !!!

  • For me Tony Martin is the best Black Sabbath singer. I think this song is somewhat perfect.

  • muto loko o tony martin no black sabbath, eu acho ele melhor que na fase do ozzy ;)

  • lineup of this album:

    Tony Martin – lead vocals

    Tony Iommi – guitars

    Geoff Nicholls – keyboards

    Laurence Cottle – bass

    Cozy Powell – drums, percussion

Brian May – guitar solo on "When Death Calls"

  • Please without any intention to offend anyone , purely my own opinion, i have heard almost all of BS albums spaning from the Ozzy days, Gillan and Dio, but in terms of sheer vocal ability , nothing compares to Tony.

  • @Roby1able You hit the nail right on the head! i get a lot of shit from people saying he was/is better than Dio and the others.

  • @Roby1able IMO Dio was better, he had better range.

But Tony could do better Ozzy songs.

  • @Roby1able I think the difference is, although i would say Dio is the better singer alround, Tony Martin has a different style, which is more 80's. One observation, and Don't all shout at me but, he has an AOR style vocals...

  • @Roby1able What are you related to the guy or something? He's okay but comparing him to Dio or Ozzy? I don't want any of what your smoking their guy.

  • @Roby1able Ray Gillen was incredible too!

  • I've never heard about Tony being with sabbath, but i love it. Any other songs I should check out with out the singers being Ozzy or Dio?

  • @ThelncomeTaxes Digital Bitch, Trashed, The Shining, Odin's Court/Valhalla, Jerusalem, The Law Maker... Basically the entire albums Headless Cross and Tyr, as well as Cross Purposes, though you can leave out Virtual Death... In my opinion the weakest song of that album. Born Again is decent. In general, stay away from Forbidden. Bad, bad, bad. A few good things here and there, but too few and far between.

  • Cozy was a great Drummer RIP.

  • i dont this like this but it is a really weird sabbath

  • Yo bro do me a favor & check out the 1st video in my favorites (good person) thanks man =

  • No Rycon its Neil Murray on bass, Cozy @ 3.44 bashes the snare then sticks up & double bass drums alone, awesome. For all you doubters if you had stayed in the Ozzy era Sabbath would've died, he was on self destruct. Sabbath have survived cos they have reinvented themselves, Dio era excellent but without sounding callous we cant go back there, i reckon either Tony Martin to return or another awesome singer but i dont know who ( Paul Rodgers?) Tony will choose, it will be good, Sabbath live on!

  • Looking at the thumbs down one can come to this:3 people are deaf and the rest 40 are Dio (R.I.P) or OZZY fanboys...Tony Martin is fucking awesome and Headless Cross one of the best BS albums.

  • @thefreak013 Ozzy - anyday.

  • Tony, please show your lead singer how to dress.

  • For me this is the real Black Sabbath!!!

  • @0zzyfan44 I'm Confused, because I always know the "Ozzy Black Sabbath" and when I hear this I think "Oh, this is REALLY GOOD" but is this the real Sabbath, sounds really different.

  • what documentary is this from?

  • whats the name of vocalist here?

  • @ivolto2 Tony Martin

  • Sabbath also the birth of doom-metal

  • @carlo0717 and black metal too

  • everyone knows of Dio and Ozzy but Tony martin is such a underrated singer, he should get more cred for his work with Sabbath

  • @citizen773 you are so right !! Man he put some excellent albums with sabbath !! His voice is superb !

  • wow! My first time listening to Tony Martin. He's a good singer. I like!

  • Λοιπόν μάγκες, από το 04:42 έως και το 04:47 ένα από τα πιό καταιγιστικά breaks όλων των εποχών!!! Αναπάυσου εν ειρήνη Cozy Powell...

  • Looking at Iommi here during the solo, he really does look like Mr. Doom metal, Mr. Black Metal, Mr. Stoner metal, Magician, Wizard, Devil all rolled into one.

  • fagget.....

  • @hedvig21 shove it up your ass you faggot

  • who was the bass player on this album and what happen to Geezer?

  • @martialfan36

Laurence Cottle played bass for the production of the album but left before they could tour so Neil Murray of Whitesnake fame was brought in for the tour and stayed on until Geezer came back at the end of the TYR tour. But Geez left after Cross Purposes and didn't return for a couple of years when they brought the original lineup back.

  • Got it in a cassette in 1988 i reckon. The clip still brings that old sence of owe mixed with fear i got as a kid watching it.

  • This is a cool jam...but keep in mind the original, and BEST Black Sabbath=Ozzy, Geezer, Bill, and Tony

  • A great singer really

  • Ok it is official everyone did better in black sabbath

  • Nunqa me eh cansado de escuchar este disco realmente weno el mejor disco de black sabbath sin Ozzy & Dio ;)

  • Tony Martin is most underrated singer in the world!!!!!!!

  • Great song. The best Martin era song.

  • Ronie Tony Ozzy... I think they are AALLL the best !!!

  • I love all of Black Sabbath's singers, but Tony Martin is my favorite by far.

  • I love every Black Sabbath era and Tony is really underrated. If Ozzy is the godfather of heavy metal, Tony is one of his best sons!

  • @ter50 him and are the gd solns :D

  • @ter50 him and DIO are the gd sons :D

  • @ter50 i think you are wrong man ozzy got a great voice but without tony ozzy would never be the ozzy that he is today so tony must be more like ozzys father

  • @ter50 wdf are you talking about ? tony was the one who invented metal

  • @ter50 Do you mean tony kakko?

  • Comment removed

  • Martin is a great vocalist!

  • @miner830e watch?v=Jk89mSGUnfg

    He still is.

  • Doom-Metal it appers everyone did better in black sabbath

  • O

zzy was the best fuck face, He made Black Sabbath black sabbath.

At least he sang about cool shit

  • Ozzy sucks. Right place, right time. Along with Peter Criss, one of the luckiest, least talented people on the planet. If Tony Martin, or really any of the other Sabbath vocalists were the original singer, then they brought in Ozzy, people wouldve been in an uproar. He sucks. Basically if youre into Ozzy era Sabbath, chances are youre over 40. Just because it occurred during your childhood doesnt make it good.

  • @vettehead2006 Your funny. Ozzy has one of the most reconazible voices in music. I heard the song Black Sabbath for the first time when I was 12 in 1983 and it scared the crap out of me and I loved every minute of it.

  • Tony was, and is, great vocalist, but he certainly is not the best Sabbath had. Dio will always be the number one.

  • I think Tony Martin may have been the best vocalist Sabbath had with the exception of Ian Gillian of Deep Purple .

  • They can't do that tho cos cozy powell is dead, they'd have to use bill ward or vinnie alpice and and neither of those would do that

  • Tony, your the fuckin' man!!

  • i prefer black sabbath with ozzy...BUT....tony martin is the best metal singer

  • Black Sabbath with Tony Martin is good. But it is'nt Black Sabbath, they should have called them something else

  • Tony Martin is the best Singer from Blacks Sabbath ever

  • @mleizers We hate Ozzy because he's overrated, and because the only reason later singers can't compare, is because they can't compare with a singer who can't sing. Tony replaced Ozzy with REAL singers, who can't do what Ozzy does, because he's too stupid to do anything else.

  • I WANNA ROCK!!

  • @tecnoborg75 lol ..wrong site thats twisted sister .

  • the best albums form me: 1.headless cross 2.heaven & hell 3.sabotage/paranoid 4.born again 5.cross purposes 6.black sabbath singers: 1.tony martin 2.dio 3.hughes 4.ozzy this song and album is amazing! fuck critics! I LOVE THIS ERA! ozzy is a clown, did commercial with justin bieber...this line up isn't a comercial band
  • @mleizers

Because Ozzy had maybe the worst Lifestyle between the 3big singers.

Dio and Martin didn't drug them as much as Ozzy. That what i think, why Ozzy is so hated.

    Bom demais!

  • RIP Cozy, we'll never forget you man.

  • Cozy on 3:46 rapid snare switching to double base magic! Gets me everytime i watch it, rip m8 hope you rockin up there with RJD!

  • I really like the atmosphere of Sabbath's Tony Martin era, its just so nicely dark, heavy and mysterious.

  • I still like this. IMHO Iommi and Black Sabbath were showing just incredible flexiveness between their singers. Ozzy-era´s songs don´t work with Dio, and Martin just cannot sing Dio. All different singers, and Sabbaths song differ from another, when needed.. Amazing!=)

  • boring

  • @bonzzan The most music illiterate thing I have ever heard. Go fuck yourself with barb-wire.

  • @BurntMetal ok einstein

  • Tony Martin bites. Dio, Ozzy and Gillan are the only ones who put out albums that were unreal. TM was just Iommi's filler until he could get his 2 main singers.-----------------------------Jimbo

  • Ozzy is the Face of Sabbath, I like all of them but Ozzy is what Sabbath is all about some evil sounding metal with a hint of death worked in !! R.I.P. Dio , but after 40 plus years Ozzy still fills the biggest stadiums . I wonder why ?? Cause he is fuckin awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!Ozzy is the " WIZARD "

  • @mikey321ish

Tony Iommi is the face of Black Sabbath. Ozzy is good but Ronnie was the best. Ozzy didn't write their music (or lyrics for that matter), he just sang. So how is Ozzy what Sabbath is all about? The music is what makes a band great. No disrespect to Ozzy but facts are facts. There is no definitive Sabbath line up as the band has written many great albums with different line ups. Although the best line up is and will forever be Ronnie/Tony/Geezer/Vinny.

  • @TheSilentCreature I respect your input ! Thanks ! I was thinking ozz, tony, geezer, ward ! Don't get me wrong I love Dio ! Seen sabbath with dio and ozz , seen ozz alone , been to ozzfest ! To me the original line up was the best ! the music with ozzy had by far a bigger following , not that that matters though it's all a personal preference ! I won't argue the Tony Iommi thing cause the singer usually gets the most credit , not fair . I like Ronnie with Purple !
