I disagree with your statement. I own guns and I know most peoplewho do don't keep them loaded when they are being stored. They only load them when they have some reason to-target practice, hunting, carrying for protection, etc. So you would have to surmise that guns don't "usually" have bullets in them in a statistical analysis. Schiff, you are a smart guy and I really like your videos. But you do know countries that have the weakest currencies do the best over time? (China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, etc)
Even Germany wants a weak currency so it can export more products to the U.S.. And Japan's CEOs have said its companies wont get better until the dollar gets stronger. (Since Japan's economy collapse around 1990, Japan has devalued its money over 5 times just to export more cars and electronics to America).
And China, buys our debt so it can have a devalued money after it stops fixing the dollar/Yuan exchange rate. Essentially, China has copied Japan's way of building wealth. (Japan buy our debt to reduce the value of its currency, even though Japan has huge amounts of debt.)
I have read a lot on the subject. And I also know Adam Smith was against currency manipulation. Its not free trade.
Don't forget about silver and copper. It will be hard to make change from gold. If you are not going to buy precious metals, it is a good idea to just stock your home with extra everyday items that don't expire or have a long shelf life. Barack Obama follows a Keynesian Model. He stimulates the demand side of the economy to get gains in overall GDP. The Fed is intentionally deflating the dollar to encourage foreign countries to buy our goods. That will also stimulate the economy. When it comes back you will see higher taxes to offset this spending. So, stop with the dollar scare tactics.

Dollars are inflating and deflating at the same time? No, there is not deflation. Maybe prices are dropping because of decreased demand (people are scared to spend), but inflation is defined as an increase in the money supply, which is happening and will only get worse with all these liabilities the gov't has.
Why do you think unemployment is over 10% (real unemployment closer to 18%), but the stockmarket rallies? Because the unit of measure, the dollar, is dropping like a rock.

I disagree with your statement. I own guns and I know most peoplewho do don't keep them loaded when they are being stored. They only load them when they have some reason to-target practice, hunting, carrying for protection, etc. So you would have to surmise that guns don't "usually" have bullets in them in a statistical analysis. I do agree that the reaction is justified.

If you're being threatened with a gun, it is logical to assume there is a bullet because the entire point of guns is to shoot bullets. That's what guns do. That's a fact. The entire point of threatening someone with a gun is the threat of firing a bullet. If someone threatens you with a gun, it is logical to assume they have bullets and act accordingly.

The way Japan got its way out is largest recession was by devaluing its money. A country gets wealthier by making things from raw materials (which produces wealth) and by exporting products to other countries.
Bottom line, a country needs a trade surplus if the country is not innovating, or creating new wealth by making products, etc..
Also, when you look at stimulus you need to look at quantitative easing (which is good), treasury's loan guarantees ($19 trillion says GS book writer), etc.

Even Germany wants a weak currency so it can export more products to the U.S.. And Japan's CEOs have said its companies wont get better until the dollar gets stronger. (Since Japan's economy collapse around 1990, Japan has devalued its money over 5 times just to export more cars and electronics to America).

And China, buys our debt so it can have a devalued money after it stops fixing the dollar/Yuan exchange rate. Essentially, China has copied Japan's way of building wealth. (Japan buy our debt to reduce the value of its currency, even though Japan has huge amounts of debt.)

Don't forget about silver and copper. It will be hard to make change from gold. If you are not going to buy precious metals, it is a good idea to just stock your home with extra everyday items that don't expire or have a long shelf life. Bank runs are likely and grocery stores will be sold out on the same day. I don't want to scare people. I just want people to be prepared.

Anyway, I'm not the same opinion anyway. Mr. Schiff hasn't understood the monetary system (money is created by credit - and that's the 'main bug' in the system). Change the money creation (away from the FED) and don't go into a gold based monetary system (this will get us in a deeper depression...)

Barack Obama follows a Keynesian Model. He stimulates the demand side of the economy to get gains in overall GDP. The Fed is intentionally deflating the dollar to encourage foreign countries to buy our goods. That will also stimulate the economy. When it comes back you will see higher taxes to offset this spending. So, stop with the dollar scare tactics.
In Bernanke (NOT SCHIFF) I trust. I'm sure the gold standard would produce a more secure economy....MY ASS.

Dollars are inflating and deflating at the same time? No, there is not deflation. Maybe prices are dropping because of decreased demand (people are scared to spend), but inflation is defined as an increase in the money supply, which is happening and will only get worse with all these liabilities the gov't has.
Why do you think unemployment is over 10% (real unemployment closer to 18%), but the stockmarket rallies? Because the unit of measure, the dollar, is dropping like a rock.

If you are prevented from using your ressources for labour, automatically, you do not produce quite so much anymore, and this has compounding effects. It causes the prices for everything to go up as they become scarce by artificial limits for, really, no god damn good reason. lol Summer, lazy?, Yes, knowledge of law? not need for what I do, action of gov legal or not? I don't care, I can't change it anyway, and won't waste my time trying as I'm too busy doing as little as possible to make as much as possible for the effort I chose to put into it. Weak-minded? I doubt it since I do well without lifting so much a finger most of the time as I concentrate my minimal effort very directly and efficiently. Oh, and I am most likely selfish too, it's all about me, bro.

Trader, You seek to profit from the work of others, but do no work yourself? That is called a parasite. You spend your time making as "much" as possible? What is much? Is it money? Then count yourself a fool, as well as lazy, because you work for the government. The income tax insures that you are wasting not only your time but also your money. Remain ignorant, that is your choice, but don't complain about what the government does, because you gave them the money, no questions asked.

Ask Irwin. It doesn't matter what you think, they have a bigger hammer and you will lose. That's why you are wrong where it counts regardless of what you want to believe. Get a clue and get real. Deal with what is, or waste your time in a losing trade. Your call. I don't lose, and I don't waste time. I can't afford to be a money and time losing idiot like most people are.

Trader, I have not paid income tax since 1996, and I will not be paying it in the future, because I understand the law.
Irwin is in jail, because of the way he chose to fight, not because he was wrong.
You lose and waste both time and money. You are ignorant of the actions of the government, so you think you are free, but you work for the government. Here's a clue for you, the right to protest comes from researching the issue, so just shut your mouth and lube up, the government loves you! LOL!

The rest of your babble is just that. Insinuations, and insults based on what you want to believe, not that any of it is based in fact whatsoever.
The issue here is you don't like how little I work for what I get in return. You don't like it because of what seems to be personal issues you must have. This tells me you are horribly unhappy and that you despise those that succeed

Here's some reality for you. I'll bet you have a mortgage, an equity line, a car payment, some credit cards, etc, so you think you are successful. The truth is that you have sold your future for crap. Every bit of credit that you cannot pay off right now, is future work that you will have to do. SO, while you claim to be working so little, you will actually have to work more. As for success, I ow
