Curious why John didn't sing Ye Bank in full (Lowland) Scots since he probably could if he wanted to. This seems odd since its half American half Scottish and theatrical rather than folk, not that there's anything wrong with that. The song was originally intended for a female singer and is about a Ayershire woman who was deserted by a lover that stole her virginity and left her pregnant. "My fause luver staw my rose. But ah! he left the thorn wi' me "

I love his Scottish accent. In fact, a couple of years ago, my husband and I were in a play called "Titanic: Tragedy and Trial", and my husband learned how to do a Scottish accent for his portrayal of First Officer Murdoch.

The way he sings, 'Ye Banks and Braes of Bonnie Doon' makes me all tearful. Ah, he's so beautiful and his voice just makes me all happy inside :)

Maybe it's just me, but I did not like moon river at all. I did like the scottish song, though. It was pretty good.
