By the way, that pathetic call in which the ball was out of bounds (face it, if a players feet were exactly where the ball hit, it would have been an out-of-bounds incompletion) and came back to touch the Eagles player is NOT comparable to a questionable call made during the determining drive of the game.
The Eagles gained what on that call? A couple yards? Eagles lost the possession and a very convincing touch-down pass over the most questionable call that game.
dbrown your a fucking idiot. It's the Eagles fault, because they were down 18 at half? Pathetic argument, the same could be made for the Cardinals being outscored 19-0 in the 3rd. Both teams drop the ball (pun intended) at key points in the game. That is a blatent pass interference, I won't be so gullible to say it would have resulted in the Eagles winning, but that is without a doubt interference. He was being pulled down before he could get his hands on the ball - no shit he dropped it!
Eagles didnt deserve it? lmao yeah them coming back 20 points and they don't deserve it? that's just dumb. This wasn't the only pass interference missed by the refs. What about the one on Avant earlier in the game? And don't say this isn't pass interference, there was plenty of contact, and Curtis was on the ground by the time the ball got there. The refs were just plain dumb.
well both teams deserved considering it was a great game one of the best IMO but the refs were consitant and they called the same things for both sides whatever the game ending you cannot blame the refs the eagles had many chances and they blew it those what 3 FG's the settled for could got TDs they're D crumbled and mcnabb missed lots of easy throws though he had some good ones he barley completed 50% of his passes and for the record im a HUGE eagles fan and i love what mcnabb has done for them
A lot of people are saying that this "no call" for pass interference cost Phily the game. I just laugh at that. One, the ball hit him square in the hands, he just dropped the pass. Two, there are SO many more things that they did themselves that cost them this game. In the end, there was some contact, it could've been called, but in this situation, a good decision by the ref to keep the flag in his pocket. Eagles had plenty of chances t pull this one out.
They were not only down by 18 at half, but they also had the lead in the fourth quarter. They just blew it. If they want to blame anything for the loss, blame their defense for not stopping Arizona when it really mattered.
So when Kevin Curtis got tackled by Roderick Hood...that had no say in why they lost. Officials need to wake up and call a blatent pass interference call. Enough said.
Oh bull. Hood lost his balance first. The only contact that was made was Hood's hand dragged along the back of Curtis's leg. It was not a tackle, it was incidental. The refs are not Congress, they don't bail you out just because you fucked up. You want the truth? The Eagles shouldn't have been down 18 at half or by 7 in the late 4th Quarter. They had their chances, they missed em, they lost the game.
it was pass interfernce
