Irina's an amazing designer. I saw her in person, and she seems very nice. Of course she can't be all sweet and cuddly when she's competing. It's a competition, you have to show that you aren't someone who could easily be pushed around. Like when Althea and her had the problem on the runway... Obviously Irina has to let them know that she thought of it first. What she said here is exactly right. If she didn't say anything, she could have been blamed for copying Althea when she did not.

И не думаю, что правы те, кто пытается из завести или личных комплексов утверждать что у тебя скверный характер, все-таки ты пришла на шоу не ради минутной дружбы или лживого сочувствия, а ради того чтобы заявить о себе, показать свой талант миру. Молодец! Мы тебя поддерживаем и восхищаемся!

One thing you cannot deny about Irina is that she crafted some beautiful designs and clothing. If she could just tone down the brutal honesty publicly - she will go a long way. I was applauding when she won, even though I live on the other side of the world. When it looked like they were going to choose Althea or Carol Hannah, I thought to myself that the judges were choosing personality over quality. However, they chose Irina, and well done to them...and her. I love the show Heidi!!!

Well I think the best designer won the competition on the day. I agree that being brutally honest is not always the best way to go. She reminds me a bit of Simon Cowell of American Idol. People hate his brutal honesty, but they respect him. I respected her for saying the obvious - i.e. Althea was copying Irina's designs. I mean, seriously, you would have to be very naieve to not think the same thing. But the best designer won on the day.

k althea did copy her alot she did that coat and then althea was like oh i like that you could tell and then just happens to make a coat similar to it, if you think she didn't copy her your fools

@arch76f I get what you're trying to say, and I agree she is a good designer-she has talent. However I think what it comes down to is that she needs to have some respect for others, and not be just plain rude. I'm not saying she needs to be best friends with everyone- you can be nice to people and not consider them your friends. If she doesn't learn to respect others, no one will go to her at all-regardless of how great of a designer she is, and yeah- that would be very sad.

It's one thing to be brutally honest, and another thing to be just plain rude. I don't think she understands that, she maybe a good designer, but I think she's clueless when it comes to common sense. Honestly, I think she has about as much common sense as a 10-year-old!!! Her attitude is just awful, and she treats others really badly. I know this is going to sound REALLY HARSH, but honestly she's not even pretty on the outside!!! I feel like she's just ugly inside and out!!!
