  • @jiloml75, I happen to come from Australia and in the city that I live in I happen to sing with 3 choirs that do greatn justice to this piece. It is one of my all time favourite canticle settings. I started as a cathedral chorister and cut my teeth on this piece. It was the first setting that I learned.

  • Beautiful setting for a beautiful sacred song. No one can verse like the Holy Spirit! One thing, though: Mary sang this after meeting Elizabeth (the Visitation), some time later after meeting the Angel (the Annunciation)

  • The tenor part from 2:20-2:27 "Humble" is insane!

  • There's also (from Cathedral Music) Stanford in E Flat - rarely heard but good.

  • First soprano #2 sang 2 overtones sharp. Other than that, not so bad.

  • This is still one of my very, very favourite pieces of music. It brings tears to my eyes as it reminds me of my days as a Chorister in Cambridgeshire England in the 70's. I miss it so much. I am thousands of miles away now in another country where they do not appreciate hardly any of this music the way that it should be. (Australia)

  • Thanks for the posting!

  • Gorgeous tone, and a solid technique mark these great singers! Many, many thanks from across the sea- VA, USA

  • Great! Really Great Praise to MOM. Nicest Angelic Voices of the Choir of St Paul's Cathedral & MOM'S Most Beautiful Pictures Bring the Audience to MOM like St. Paul were living there & preaching His Gospel to MOM'S Lovely Angelic People on the Isles of Angels. Jesus Will Be Delighted When He Heard You Praising His MOM like This. May MOM Love All of You & One Day Take All of You to DAD, with WHOM We shall Live Together in Heaven Again. May DAD Bless All of You & Give You All the Salvation Too!

  • I have seen your channel, and you are very mis-informed about a great deal. The NWO that you speak of is actually, The ORO. The Old Roman Order. "The Templars, Ordo de illuminati?" "The Clan Stuart/Stewart of Scotland?" I Mean WOW? As far as the Secrets of ODI and the Templars, you really have no Idea of what they are, or why there was need for secrecy, and there was grave need! Not enough space to go any futher, but believe what you want!

  • Oh yes the comment was at YBPhotoeditor06

  • "just bloody wicked"??? Well, you can tell that an American didn't write that. Anyway, it was WONDERFUL!!!
