well it depends are you a business man or a teen? alot of kids at my school have blackberrys, theyr kind of the new fad, but they are definately more business oriented. sidekicks are more for play and social networking, id say its a tie between them for me.

The sidekick is known for vibrating in classes. When I was taking my college classes, while it was on vibrate and it went off (while it was on the table) and everyone looked at me. I put it in my pocket and it vibrated again. Everyone looked at me. You're best bet is to put it on silent. That consumes battery, anyway

I had the sidekick slide , and noooo. I actually thought it was bizarre because i rarely heard it when it vibrated with text messages anyhow .. but why would you put a phone on the table when you know it sounds loud if its on vibrate? sorry but thats a dumb move.
