This is sad what they do to all these vehicles. I own a 1998 Ford F-150 a 1994 Jeep Cherokee and a 1996 Ford Thunderbird. All three of them have over 100,000 miles on them and still run. What I like about cash for clunkers isthat the government gives ???trillion dollars no questions asked to banks and big corps. of our tax dollars, paying individual car execs millions to step down, but for me to get 4500 of my own tax dollars back I have to give them adecent good running car. Sorry I won't own a new SUV unless its a Jeep with a 4.0L Straight 6, unfortunately Chrysler fucked up and decided to go to a POS V6 engine, losing not only customers, but fuel economy.
