in AvP 2 it would be Player aliens vs Player marines, now i t's AI Aliens vs 4 marines.

Man, the guys over at GBS must be shaking in their boots. If this game is half as good as it looks, they're going to have a tough time marketing Aliens: Colonial Marines later this year. Of course Sega couldn't be happier because they win either way.

Yep, later this year, probably in the fall. It was cancelled for the PS2 back in 2001, but the project has been kicked back into production over the last few years. Rumors are that Sega is purposely holding back Colonial Marines from release to maximize sales and prevent the games from conflicting with one another. But they're both being developed by separate parties, Rebellion and Gearbox.

Right, what's been coming from Gearbox themselves is that Colonial Marines was delayed because the team was so focused on creating Borderlands that they pushed it back.

Hmm, seeing as this mode is a co-op version of the other avp games survivor modes, i hardly see it as a rip off, besides, L4D's weapons are completely boring compared to an M41A Pulse Rifle :)

How can this be a L4D rip off when it was these guys who put this mode in the first AVP game? Do some research on your video game history before posting it's a rip off. The first AVP game was made way before L4D was even a thought.
