I assume he lost his fighters instinct, but if he wants to go out on his shield, so be it. I give credit to Calzaghe for retiring undefeated. Erik Morales, Julio Cesar Chavez all had amazing records at one point, but they just got old. A perfect record is a great accomplishment, but not good enough to be in the Hall of Fame.
