  • omg! this is sooo col watching this kid playing something by mozart! hes a

    minimozart just by himself!

    :)

    keep it up!

  • Pretty impressive for an 8 year old. Geez, I used to play it just like that when I was in the Conservatory. Very sad. I switched to Computer Science.

  • when i was his age all i could play was twinkle twinkle little star! :( i'm 14 but i can play this now! :D

  • I think the last part was especially good... by any standard...

All the attention that has apparently been given to this young man , It surprises me that he is not given a piano bench of the appropriate height for his size...

  • I love how the keys are almost at face level :)

  • If you tell him to play a little slower, it will have more emotion in it. Very impressive though.

  • a little sketchy but still amazing

  • I'm just starting to learn this song and I can't play 3:10 as fast as he can.... And I'm 17... Playing piano for 12 years.... :P....... He plays wonderfully. I am jealous xD!

  • @Guitarfreak8810 Wow. I've been playing for 3 months and I do it faster..

  • astounding.

  • i like it

  • So, I learned this when I was 16...This kid is amazing!

  • LOVELY, you have great potential. Only a month in this piece, I really curious how's your playing in this piece now? please post more!!! Nothing going to hide your talent, show us more. I'm going to hear your name soon...what's you full name?

  • Go to about 3:10, it's quite amazing, for such an early age. He's gonna be an awesome pianist, I'm sure.

  • @xxDisneyCutiesxx It's not that bad. I know there's some problems with the rhythm/tempo, but the way he uses dynamics is quite amazing sometimes, for such an early age. It's definitely not OMFG MY EARS HURT OH GOD.

    Everyone starts at some point.

  • I agree that children do bring a different interpretation to pieces. I play this piece very often and it sounds completely different to this child but that doesn't make his playing bad or anything. It's probably all to do with perception anyway. What may be a good interpretation to one person may not be to another.

  • I think that you are disregarding all the imagination that kids have. They can bring a lot of understanding to music. Look at his posture. I think it's unfair to say that this piece doesn't mean anything to him.

  • He's very good for his age, but I agree with FloconDeNeige93, cuz for example I study for 3/4 months a piece, than pause for 4 months, and after that piece again to understand it in a better way.

Sorry for my bad English, Italian :p

  • they shouldn't push kids to play this well in such a short period of time, it takes time to fully understand music, get the feeling and bring it over to an audience

it will sound like robots trying to make music

  • @FloconDeNeige93 except, of course, that it doesn't

  • @reinpost It does. Als hij nu nog speelt, zou ik het hem graag opnieuw willen horen spelen, want ik ben er zeker van dat het veel beter zal klinken.

  • I would just like to say that any attempt an 8 yr old makes on a musical instrument and succeeds, as this youngster does, is nothing short of exceptional. Most kids his age are playing mindless video games. And really, what 8 year old can really understand the feeling that is needed to play this piece. Give credit where credit is due. Nothing is ever perfect. Keep up the excellent work.

  • god for all these people who are giving him shit... he's 8. this is amazing. my sister is 8. she's been playing for a while and she's no where near this good. I'VE been playing for 10 years and I would probably have trouble with this song. you people are just.. well... musically retarded. that or just generally pissy people. get lives

  • @ohthatkush Shut up commie lol

    Won't argue with an idiot

I believe it's perfectly fine, actually good, that they start playing as well as possible at as an early age as possible.. I don't think learning dynamics is impossible at all when young, and anyway, he's actually using dynamics. Beginners don't know dynamics anyway. To not do this is a waste of time IMO, it's perfectly fine as long as the child enjoys it.

  • mozart isn't only notes...is expression and you play this Fantasie very bad because have no felling...Play some basic pieces of mozart to understand what mozart want in this Fantasie...The notes are very easy but the interpretation is a little hard for amadeur pianist...But continues with your work

  • this guy is great! how can you say "8 seconds into i had to stop it" and "i stopped it 20 seconds in" that's awful. way to bring the poor kid down. this is amazing. imagine where he will be by the time he's in college. a musical genius. he'll be composing his own music. surely more advanced than any talent you probably already hold right now. i've been playing piano since I was 7, i'm now 25. he will only get better.

  • i'm sorry.. i'm proud of you you can PLAY this piece on an age of only 8 years old, but, after 8 seconds i've stopped the video cause it's played without feeling. if i was you, go play other pieces but start this when you're abour ... eum 19 years old. i believe that you can become a great pianist.. but you started with this song MUCH too early

  • the 1st 25 seconds has a magical feel to it

love how it sounds really smooth

most of the song is pretty good

more emotion could be used though

  • I'm feeling like a retard watching all these great piano kids! Well done Anson, and keep it up.

  • Where is the boy's name ???

  • hmm...well he is good for an 8 year old...but no expression...waayyy to fast and choppy...but for 8 years old wonderful!

  • seems as if you would not have any feeling for an 8 year old boy. his playing has a lot of expression. an 8 year old person just hears things different.

  • that is rude :(

  • great potential

  • He must be a victim of child abuse to play this good.

  • How dare you to judge like that? I played this when I was 9 years old, just for my own pleasure, I loved Mozart's music (as I still do) als I loved playing it. My parents didn't push me at all..

Maybe the boy is just talented??

  • great! for a moment a bit uneven with the sixteenths, but amazing work! you will go far!

  • wow im learning this right now

    and hes amazing

    this is inredible

even for an adult this is great

  • The boy is 8! And he is doing better than some grown adults do that have been playing their whole life! Seriously what kind of person puts down a child? I guess we all know why you are such as sad miserable human being you do know they have medication for "your condition" these days! As for the boy you totally rock!

  • @cariecraw1He is hardly as good as you claim, but it is very impressive for one at his age nonetheless.

  • sloppy, this guy should be learning easier music instead of ruining a good song

  • he is good, he must be start play piano since 3?

  • gifted child

just outta curiosity how long does he practise a day?

  • thanks...he practice around 2 hours to 3 hours a day.....

  • Wow. he learn kinda fast. I learned it in 2 weeks and I have only being playing piano ever for about 1 year. I'm not bragging.

  • Wow. This makes me feel bad about my own playing. I believe I do this piece better than him, but, well, he's freaking 8 years old! He did amazing for so young! *Sigh* Why couldn't I have been a prodigy...?

  • Assidious attention to the huge range of touch required in this piece; magnificent sense of its inherent drama; a great talent, with all the marvelous vitality and power of the young. But as I was taught(I played this piece at age 10 and won many competitions)"Just because you can doesn't mean you should show out!" The essence of Mozart lies in his own words to his sister "One can express anything in music, but it must be done with beauty." Check out the Gilels performance and my comments there.

  • GOOD JOB MAN..What i like about is that u made that song all yours and played how u wanted to play. Dont listen to all that maturity stuff. NO ONE CAN BE SOMEONE ELS..

  • for that he's only 8 years old it's well done. chapeau! but in some parts i have to say, he's unfortunately just "throwing the notes off", for example in the staccato part: it has to be kind of gentle and diffident (!), with a little sadness inside; also in the the beginning. i play this piece myself and it is not easy to get this different characters together. so a certain maturity is really necessary for playing a piece like this correctly.

  • aquilazweq, and when he's MATURE he WILL. But until then, STFU and enjoy this little 8 year old. Can't you just admire how an 8 year old is able to play this piece without trying to be his TEACHER?? He's only EIGHT! What do you expect? PERFECTION? You are such an ingrate and I have a gesture for you on my channel. Go check it out. It's meant for adult morons who criticize 8 year olds.

  • no reason to behave like this. i have LOTS of respect of what he has done. i admire how he managed to get the technique. just, for me music means FEELINGS, emotions. i did not feel very comfortable seeing a so young boy making such an effort... that's my point of view. don't judge people you know no background about. and yes, you are right, i expected too much. piece man...

  • Clear, we do get born again. Welcome back Mozart...ONE month? Amazing, boy enjoy what ever you do, you'll be fine.

  • He needs a booster seat.

  • wonderfull

  • Nice job!

  • very nice anson !!!

  • WOOT! go anson! ur so good at piano, thumbs up =) see you later!

  • This guy is so Great!!!! It's amazing!!!!

  • bravo!!! bravo!!

  • So nice play!! He only 8 years old!!
