I've done this with my Sims plenty of times already but it just won't happen! Is there a cheat code available to make this happen? Is there a certain number of days to wait before the Sim gets pregnant?

Please give some advice! I'm going crazy trying to figure this out! (And yes, I do choose the 'try for baby' options between my male and female Sim.)

Well if the sim gets pregnant you will hear a short tune. Your sims may not be able to get pregant because of a conflicting donload/hack. Also,I think this only works for the PC version.

No, the fireworks happen anyway whether she is pregnant or not. After they try for a baby, if she is pregnant you will hear a very quiet nursery rhyme in the background. If you don't hear that, it means she is not pregnant.
