My hair used to get that somewhat spongy/frizzy look, then I thinned it out. I also cut my tips into a v, but that means I end up getting a lot of split ends. =/

@maya5000ful frankly, hair texture is not something u can change as it is genetic. but u can definitely take care of ur hair by applying regular oil and not using chemical shampoos, eating right proteins. also u can use volumizing styling products to make ur hair look thicker,

On my phone so can't do a proper reply. I used to only get a few inches cut off. But once the lady cut a lot off. I liked it in the summer so now I cut a bunch off each summer.

Pretty hair. Mine was this long until recently. I cut 12" off because of some split ends. I do it every year.

This doesn't look very "greasy" (like when I do my own hair :P) Would this be done and then washed out the next morning or is this after washing?  Is it meant to be left in like conditioner? I really would love to get my hair this long, right nwo it is just to the middle of my back!

@sarah9847 if hair are dry then it won't look greasy. best is to leave overnight and wash next day. if u want to leave it like conditioner then use little and just wipe on hair. have patience and ur hair will grow.

@Iftikhar1312 If you want to grow your hair long, simply don't cut it and be patient. Don't listen to the tomkots because they don't know what they're talking about. Women don't have a special gene that makes their hair long. Men can have hair as long as they want. THAT's a fact.

@tomkots its not about science. ALL hair whether you're black, white, asian, indian whatever, grows on average about 6 to 16 inches per year. It's how well you take care of it that determines how much of that length you get to keep. Your hair is constantly growing. As long as you keep your scalp clean and your ends trimmed and moisturized to prevent too much breakage, it can grow as long or longer than the women you see in this video. Genes and Weather? Please...
