First time I ever hear this version. Shame on me. But I do believe Lai is appreciated outside France and the french. I became a fan at about 7 years old when my older sister brought home A MAN AND A WOMAN. About LE PASSAGER DE LA PLUIE I was only familiarwith the excellent Paul Mauriat version.

I have the German CD and this is a different version than the one on mine. I have the version used in the movie by Marlene Jobert. Is this Marlene? I'm not sure.
