The dialogue sucks in the book as well. I could not stand the conversations between Bella and Jacob. It was so awful - totally predictable and boring. Both characters have no substance to them, or any personality whatsoever.

i agree the movie was shit. but seriously, the books are a great read and NOTHING like the movies at all. this is the epitimy of movies ruining books. when i first heard about the books i thought the plot sounded fuckin cheesey and retarded, but the books are literary crack and you will not be able to put them down. the movie is horrible, if youre a girl, i suggest you go just so you can see rob pattinson be hot and say "marry me"
i doubt eclipse will be better. theyre just gonna keep making these movies super cheese for the 13 yr olds. my guy friend, who is a total bad ass, loves fireworks, and building trucks, LOVED the books, and hes not someone you would expect to like them. i hate reading, and i couldnt out them down. you've got me wanting to check out "the road" now! im gonna read it
i so agree new moon sucks more than the first and oddly the thrid one (i'm more a fan of the books than the movies)

Yeah, i never read the books so i dont mean to judge those...I wana see the "novel-to-movie" The Road, i heard it stays pretty true to the book.
I wanted to buy the book but i wanted to see the movie so badly that i never wanted to read it 1st (incase i judged the movie too much).
Maybe Eclipse will be better.......maybe.
