well just because it doesnt sound like music with feeling doesnt mean shes not "feeling" it. im a fan of classical and hey i write band music :) but i still would call this music, with feeling
I get your point, but i think my point is that she is not a good trumpet player. This because she cant phrase the music all she can do is going up and down scales. I don´t care what she feels about the music, but a huge factor in music as you probably now as a band music writer is to get the audience to feel what you are feeling something i don´t do when i hear this kind of music.
It's good when sometimes there's a bit of "theatre" when playing music...it's bad then there's a bit of music when making "theatre" ( trying to disguise "random notes" for "experimental music" ).
I've never heard such a shit!!! that's no music!!! YOU ARE NOT A TRUMPET-PLAYER!!!!!!!!!

I've heard avant garde free jazz that actually sounds good, these people don't know what they're doing. You have to actually have chops to play 'out'

to me it almost doesnt matter how good/bad it sounds as long as they show how much work theyve put into learning their instrument
