  • Those were fantastic pieces of meat

  • Thanks for sharing! I have tried to use this method but I end up with a well done dried steak. Did you put the toster oven in bake or broil? For how lonkg did you cook the steak in the toaster oven?

    Thanks again.

  • thanks for sharing! the pup was so lucky! :)

  • I hope you gave the bone to your dog!

  • Do you set this to broil or bake?

  • nice vid, so the point is to dirty up a pan and the toaster oven?

  • @jreynolds21 You need to use both methods with this method, otherwise you severely dry out the steak (and overcook certain areas) when you just use the pan.

  • Thanks for the post, i'm making rosemary-roasted garlic strip steaks for my parents, first time i'm actually cooking and I needed some help with the toaster oven. I'll throw them on the pan first.

Hahaha I had sneaker pimps playing in the background to.

  • Thanks for the instructions. My steak was delicious!

  • Yummy. The dog part was a little disturbing, but excellent video.

  • what a waste of tie this video fucking was, way to make it way longer then it needed to be.

  • Nice presentation especially at 4:50. I kept feeling sorry for the mutt. I wished you has given him the bone though. LOL

  • DOGGY!!!!!

  • I was wondering how high of a temperature you had your frying pan set at. Max heat, medium or medium-high?

  • @asianshell medium-high

  • 1) LOL at the doggy :)

    2) That actually looks real good. Why don't you just finish it in the pan though? Does toasting add something?

  • yum!! just followed the instructions!

  • I LOVE COW.

  • Wow that steak looks perfect, I'm just wondering you used two boneless new york strip steaks and the last one was a porterhouse am I correct? if not what cuts of beef did you use?

  • @chaosc00l I used New York and Ribeye

  • Wow. That looks so delicious. But I notice the meat is still red on the inside. It's not fully cooked.

  • @LaoSoftware I love med/rare -- but definitely adjust the time to however you like your steak =)

  • @LaoSoftware steak can be eaten rare

  • @LaoSoftware It is cooked. In fact it looks perfect.

  • @LaoSoftware medium rare, the best way to eat a stake!

  • name of all the songs please !!! its so epic

  • It looks good, but I really don't get the point of putting it in the oven.

Steak is always best simply pan fried. Putting it in the oven for all that time will just dry it out, and that's one thing you don't want to do to your nice juicy steak.

  • @unityspirit51 Time to get that you see an eye doctor.....Nice medium steak.....What do you want?...Shoe leather?

  • IMO

I have heard you should not salt it until you have sealed it, and you should oil the steak not the pan ?

Plus meat on a plastic board not wooden one.

  • @muely07 thanks for your comments, I believe that these ideas are more a matter of preference and not a right/wrong. People have been cutting on wood since the beginning of time, and even with salt can be sanitized properly. If you season you steaks before sealing it, the moisture from the insides will soak in more flavor as opposed to after its seared. In a non-stick pan, it wouldn't matter either way if the steak was oiled or the pan. It came out good and thats what matters, right?

  • The dog was like "Gimme some o that!! gimme some o that!!!"

  • Ok, i ask about a toaster oven and i get The Wabbie! Wrokay!

  • I'm sorry, but where is the toaster oven?

  • This is perfect! Just what I needed, except my searing set off the smoke alarm! lol Love the Paul Simon music from Rhythm of the Saints too - excellent album.

  • good videos....congrats good stuff

  • Thanks! Could you also make a video on how to make steak sauce/gravy?

  • @MotokoSAC2 yeah. its my little brother that does all the cooking. i just try and film it when im home. =) but ill put the request in for it. its been a little while since we had some good steaks.

  • Nice video, though you forgot to add one small tiny bit of info... whats the required

heat level for the pan, low, medium, high?

  • @MotokoSAC2 somewhere between medium and high-medium

  • lol at the dog eyeballing the steak, too cute

  • nice vid

  • ruined in the microwave

  • @glenndefender WHAT!!!! microwaved steak? no way...seriously? lmao..this one is a knee slapper..oh boy...

  • For a first video this was not bad.

  • Nice video, love the music and the recipe. Cooking the steak in a toaster oven is a great idea for people on the go.

  • Type in camera stabilizer here in youtube to see home made units and how to build them or type in 'camera stabilizer' in ebay and there are many to choose from. Looks like a decent one for around $100 now.
