  • Why was the black dude so angry?

  • @danniecurnow He's just bad ass like that.

  • 3:43 we got our selves a badass here

  • Somehow I got over it pretty fast. Man, science is magic!

  • Is this fucking DEEP IMPACT or what? Where's Morgan Freeman!

  • Comment removed

  • owned by the black dude hahahahahah....get over it

  • @RomeoProductionz the black dude is an idiot

  • @DanFrederiksen The "black dude" is Neil DeGrasse Tyson, one of the most respected astrophysicists of our time. He's a Harvard graduate and on top of being a member of different astronomy committees and societies, he has been awarded the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal, the highest civilian honor bestowed by NASA.

Looks to me he could be many things, but "idiot" is not precisely one of them... respect

  • @kroaal I know who he is. he's still an idiot.

Nasa is a moron's organization, for them to honor you is a dishonor. if they like you you are doing something wrong.

you might try analyzing the cost effectiveness of the shuttle which they flew for 30 years. you can also realize that of the 7-9 cameras onboard the mars MER rovers, not one was in color. and during the first month it moved at an average of 1% of the speed of a garden snail. literally.

and UFOs are real. time to wake up

  • peace and love... I love you

  • You would have thought that Neptune would have been an almost frozen gas planet considering the vast distance. If 2003 UB313 is a frozen planet the Voyger probes will have by now passed its orbit path.

  • get over it.

  • Wow. I sorta feel like I got about 1/4 of the story at best.

  • Neil Tyson showing his usual arrogance.... as if finding planet-sized objects within the kuiper belt isn't a discovery worthy of praise. If he himself had found a dwarf planet he'd likely be talking it up as the most important discovery within the field of astronomy for the last fifty years. I really don't like the guy because humility seems to be a completely unfamilar concept to him. His deep understanding of astrophysics isn't somehow an excuse for stubborn abrasive arrogance.

  • @HueyTheDoctor87 he is a scientists and states facts, people get but-hurt, world moves on. The objects in kuiper belt are unlikely to be termed as planets because its like the asteroid belt, where a lot of objects that failed to form planets reside. The fact that they could not clear up the debris in their orbits by either attracting or displacing them makes them non-planets irrespective of their sizes. But this might change in future just like what happened with pluto.

  • @HueyTheDoctor87

You're an idiot. He is probably fed up with the countless letters he gets from people like you who ignore scientific facts.

  • @HueyTheDoctor87 Hey, how much you wanna bet it was scripted?

  • 2003 UB313 is a troll

  • January the 5th the day i was born :')

  • @coffinraider1 You type pretty well for a 3 week old baby!

  • I'll go there when the summer comes and i won't be back for 100 years :-)

  • @UtdMan4eva When you consider the travel there and back you wouldn't be back for thousands of years.

  • Lmao I was into it nd that, nigga at the end talking shit

  • The sad part of this story is that they now know its actually about 75% the size of Pluto

  • thats our old planet!

  • gay comercial

  • The "pissed off black dude at the end" is a motherfucking astro-physicist and he was on an episode of the "Big Bang Theory" xD

    Cool in my book!

  • @MPSecare That's Neil Tyson

  • It's a giant fat bitch floating thru space

  • "Get over it.." Hahaha!

  • Tyson is the man! :)

  • The black man at the end makes me understand the contrairy of his statement !! What he is suppose to do about discovering something disturbing.... he can't say what he think publicly for sure except in that extremely rude way to bark orders.

  • pissed of black dude at the end lol. jealousy

  • @scolton4life15 That's Neil Tyson man. In my opinion he is one of the most influential scientists of our time. Look him up here on youtube.

  • @scolton4life15 The "pissed off black dude and the end" is Neil Tyson, one of the worlds leading Astrophysicists. So basically a "pissed off black dude" is light years smarter than you. Jealousy

  • @TheDemonJester no need to get so defensive, god.. is he your boyfriend?

  • @scolton4life15 Is that an attempt at an insult?

I'm not meaning to get defensive at all. I just have to wonder.....why is his skin color of such importance that it required mentioning in your comment? Have a problem with an educated black man or something?

But hey since you want to label me as "Defensive" then I'll label you "Racist"

  • biggest secret of their lives..now its on youtube with over a million views lol

  • Would that be the same Kuiper belt that has never been scientifically proven to even exist?

  • Its Eris(2003 ub313) is a dwarf planet. It is not "much bigger than pluto" it is only slightly larger. Such objects are not uncommon in the Kuiper belt/oort cloud

  • if they passed neptune they's Nibiru.

  • The last one was the best :D

  • If it's nothing special, how comes if you google 10th planet all you get is professional report (and stupid reports) dated 2005. Nothing beyond that. Why is that? Even if it turned out to be a large asteroid, you would expect articles to tail off over a couple years as astronomers proved this!

  • ROFL Get Over It ROFL

  • its my cock.i wondered where it went.now i need to find a way to get out there to retrieve the massive s.o.b.!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!EEERRRRRRRR!!!!!

  • @bencoleone wow you have a strap on. man by night. woman by day

  • This video ended pretty abruptly and with unanswered questions. Why, uploader?

  • @FlargidyTV Everything was answered other than the fact that UB313 is also known as Eris

  • @mrxxbrian It said the planet was made of solid gas. This doesn't make any sense. Something cannot be solid and a gas. If it were made from a gas that froze and turned solid, that would be different.

  • @FlargidyTV There is methane on the surface of Eris and because Eris is so cold the gas stays frozen i.e. 'solid frozen methane gas' but it is mainly of rock and ice.

  • It's called Makemake. It's the largest Kuiper belt object found so far.

  • god dame mexican plannets comming over here >_<

  • yesterday i saw that lars von trier trailer melancholia - drama about sister re-uniting cos a new planet is on a colllison course in earth...now i see this.. shit

  • @BodomChildBreeder go eat some cheddar cheese!

  • they confirmed that it is almost exactly the same size as Pluto, not bigger.

  • I had seen in a documentary about our earth losing ice, and they had said they think there was a planet that had escaped from a different solar system and some how made it to ours and is stealing ice from other planets in our solar system, now idk if it's real or not but it fits

  • @Mrtripy100 I don't know how a planet we can't prove exists would be stealing ice from us. Not sure how it could take anything from the planet without us seeing it.

  • WTF i was watching football how the hell did i get here!!!

  • DAMN THIS IS SCARY THIS SUPER SCARY THAT COULD BE A UFO PLANET

  • @Kevinpitviperorton ur retarded really retarded is just a planet

  • @Kevinpitviperorton i hear there is a monster under your bed but when you look it hides itself

  • Very funny to see the usual Niburu BS ... it's a Kuiper Belt Object, get over it. There are plenty of others too.

  • All Im gonna say is the ancient sumarians knew all the planets in the solar system and their distance from the sun. And they got them all right before we even discovered them. The sumarians didn't have the proper equipment to figure this out. so whatever method they used to learn the solar system, it worked. So that makes it very interesting that they include the planet nibiru. and listen to their creation story when you get a chance. it makes more sense than modern science.

  • @RIPMarvinHeemeyer theres no proof of that. just speculation

  • @RIPMarvinHeemeyer The Sumarians got it averagely correct but they also got it off by large amount in some areas. They had alot of incorrect theories as well

  • @RIPMarvinHeemeyer So how does it make more sense?

  • @SorryStamin its for you to research and find out,me explaining it to you won't do it any justice

  • @RIPMarvinHeemeyer So it's better then the evidence used to prove the universe is expanding (Big Bang), with gravity showing how stars were formed, abiogenesis and evolution showing how life works. After reading it you want to substitute these all with magical Gods? Lol no.

  • @SorryStamin I was referring to their story of how earth was made, how the asteroid belt was made, why pluto exists where is does and why earth has plate tectonics. They believed earth was struck by nibiru, knocking it into its current orbit, the debris forming the asteroids. pluto was dragged out by nibirus gravity and the earth, being in the vacuum of space, curled up into the tightest ball it could, causing it's crust to be cracked like it is today.

  • @RIPMarvinHeemeyer And their "magical" Gods weren't what you and I think of as Gods, thats just how the sumerians interpreted things because they were much more primitive than us. I won't bother explaining it because I doubt you're capable of understanding/accepting it.

  • @RIPMarvinHeemeyer Umm. Maybe you should learn how the moon was made. and the asteroids are there because Jupiter kept them from coming together.

  • @SorryStamin that's one way of explaining it, know one actually knows how everything came together, all they can do is research and try to pretty much "guess"how it happened. Obviously we weren't around, so we don't actually know, we just theorize how this stuff happens. And even the moon could have come out of the sumerian story, seeing how scientists believe it was created by a collision by an object with the earth.

  • @RIPMarvinHeemeyer They do not guess. Please read the papers, it is mathmatically the only way the moon could have formed, how do you think they disproved the theory of Earth catching it into it's orbit. Read. It says a planet the size of mars both formed into one planet. the remains = moon

  • @SorryStamin Well they kinda guess, they call it theorizing. I watched a special recently stating that the most widely accepted theory of where the moon came from was that a large meteor struck the earth and knocked off a chunk which became the moon. This might have been a slightly outdated special but not by that much. So it's interesting to me how some of these theories are held almost as fact until someone comes up with a better idea, then they argue and before long the old "fact" looks silly

  • @dourcynicbass You realize that theory was made in the 15th century right? You're retarded. Read a science textbook

  • TO say there is no evidence is to say you haven't done any research

  • 3:05 on is b/s. They DID find something but, the details are not so concrete.

  • planet x? thats what the Egiptians say that will destroy the world in 2012

  • It wont let me wach the video, creepy

  • Tyson makes science hip, funny and cool! Get over it!

  • Damn! lol I was settling in for another great upload and bam---it was over in four minutes! lol I didn't even check for the length of the vid; I assumed it was an hour long, like the rest :P

  • we should have 10 planets not 8 wth

  • ofcourse theirs other planets the universe is infanite do you think were are the only beings its all coverd up and any one who questions it are made to look fools .watch all i have reasearched on trishtashha channell

  • @trishtashha: I presume you are not in an English-speaking country. What you write is so replete with spelling and grammatical errors (not to mention the absence of punctuation) that I can't call it English; I call it quasi-English, which is the mark of illiteracy.

  • Knowledge is always hidden away, its true that people are fundamentally non-believers. They dont want to imagine anything outside of reality t.v shopping, and loggin into their facebook every 10 seconds.Their are other life forms, if we are it than the universe is a tremendous waste of space. The bible is flooded with "alien encounters" and they where obsessed with the stars for a reason..The angels that got kicked out of heaven materialized and now inhabit other realms in the 4 and 5th dimension

  • biggest secret which your telling to 1,147,159 people in the world

  • Get over it

  • "covered in solid natural gas" how can there be solid gas? @ 3:09

  • @AbigailAdamsPreschoo It's a solid gas. GET OVER IT.

  • @AbigailAdamsPreschoo Ever fart (gas) but instead comes out as shit (solid)? Yeah, like that.

  • @AbigailAdamsPreschoo When it's very, very cold. Dry ice is frozen Carbon Dioxide and converts directly back to a gas.

  • @AbigailAdamsPreschoo The same way that dry ice is solid carbon dioxide, which is commonly found as a gas on Earth. It's just less confusing for carbon dioxide because the common name doesn't have the word "gas" in it.

  • @AbigailAdamsPreschoo It tecnically is not a gas at that point. Natural gas is just the common name for a mixture of methane and other gases that we find often in the ground. At normal tempuratures here on Earth it is a gas.

  • Homeless talks on a science video. ? Damn liberals

  • Get over it.

  • Oh that last bit was classic!

  • It's NIBIRU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @stiffyschlong There is no Nibiru...Turn off the Conspiracy crap & open up a science book!

  • @Viracocha711 Science and History is wrong, it was created by the lizard people. GET OVER IT.

  • @Viracocha711 That made me laugh but I must ask you.......do you think any science book you can recommend has all the answers %100 correct without any error and that

ancient civilisations made up fairy tales even if they had information that coincides with our current knowledge of the earth?

  • @masterkudjo There is NOT a single ancient civilization that had knowledge about the Earth we do today...Other than stuff like if you touch a hot coal in a fire pit it hurts & really complex stuff like don't have sex with someone's girl who is bigger & meaner than you are! Other than that, NO they knew nothing about the Earth like we do today! Seriously, after that comment I am sorry I suggested the science book...Maybe a coloring book with bold lines?

  • @Viracocha711 science as we know it is being redefined or at least questioned every day, ESPECIALLY in the field of cosmology. Not to mention most books such as school science books are made extremely biased by a company who can write (or not write) whatever they and their supporters want.

  • @oOoIIoOo Science is not being "redefined"...It is being "refined" on almost a daily basis but that does not mean there is still a chance there is a planet out there headed for planet Earth the conspiracy NUTS call "Nibiru". PLEASE tell me what company is writing "extremely biased" text books...That is simply the intellectually LAZY way out of not learning real cosmology! Read this book, "The 4 Percent Universe: Dark Matter, Dark Energy, and the Race to Discover the Rest of Reality"

  • Rationalism is an objectively correct means of analysis. While not everyone is a professional physicist and/or astronomer, the more you document yourself and learn things that make rational sense, the better you can understand more complicated thoughts and theories until you reach the point of contemporary science. Once you're there, you can formulate hypotheses or choose pre-existing ones and agree that they're more likely to be right. If you think EVERYONE is manipulating you thats just lol.

  • @Viracocha711 this new planet kinda opens up the question fool....i mean there could be a planet hella far just like the sumerians stated...not saying im right..just think about it dont be an ignorant!

  • @retc90 He's actually being the polar opposite of "an ignorant". He's basing his assumption on the science involved. This object isn't a planet, it's the same size as Pluto, also not a planet. It's smaller than our own moon. Nibiru is supposed to be the same size as Earth or bigger, right? Anything that large hanging out in the outer solar system would have been noticed already either visually or by its gravitational interaction with other objects. In conclusion: "Don't be an ignorant!"

  • @TheZahirNT2 OK Sherlock thanks for the advice. Oh by the way I never said this planet was Nibiru or that Nibiru its real!!!!!! I said it opens the possibility. Other super advanced beings couldve found a way 2 make themselves un-noticable, but that requires an open mind & a great imagination to think outside the box which I wont bother to ask if u do :).

  • @retc90 No NO NO...It does not open up anything! Seriously, go learn some science & I swear you will be rushing to erase all the utterly ignorant comments you have made on You Tube! Good Luck!!

  • @In a year ill graduate with a bachelors in biochem, ive had lots of science ok bro. Just have a lil fun...open your mind, think outside the box not just say what other science ppl say or thhink...do your own thinking be original! wonder at night when u get a chance or ask ur self " are we the only ones in this universe?" .....why in hell are we so special to be the only ones 2 exist...i say FUCK NO to that :) gnight im tired. Love u.

  • @retc90 OK, then read an astronomy & cosmology book in your free time & then once you have a firm foundation let your mind roam the universe! Yes, it is very likely we are not along but like Carl Sagan said "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!" BTW- There is NO EVIDENCE at all that would suggest another large body/planet is in our solar system. If there was it would not be able to support life, especially intelligent life, being so far from the sun. THINK THINK THINK!

  • @Viracocha711 Its Superman coming to Eff us up!

  • @Viracocha711 What does a science book say about the plausibility or implausibility of Nibiru? Not saying I believe in it, but if you actually opened up a science book you'd find out that binary stars are actually quite common. Considering that there are still many things we don't see within our solar system, the plausibility is there. Elliptical orbits also happen to be common, thus the idea of a brown dwarf (which cannot be seen by naked eye) exists in our SS isn't thatfarfetched

  • @GhostOfAStranger1 If you took just a little bit of time to read about what we know about our solar system & especially HOW WE KNOW WHAT WE KNOW you would quickly see that it is highly "implausible" our solar system is a binary system. We know FAR MORE about the natural world than folks like yourself & others think we do! Just like Anthropogenic Climate Change & Evolution we know both are VERY REAL despite what some claim that there is much we don't know.

  • THUMBS DOWN DUE TO FUCKING COMMERCIALS

  • Its Hoth !

  • lmafo at "GET OVER IT"

  • @KamikazeChris33

    wasn't that funny, dip shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

  • your mum's a kuiper belt object.

  • Lmao @ "get over it.." haha

  • neil degrase tyson seem kinda pissed off O.O

  • watch out guys, we're dealing with a badass here.

  • Whats all this stuff about arrows to the knee man its on every other video with thumbs up

  • @AMBat3rdrock Think it's of the same concept as shooting one's self in the foot. Either way, it implies that one is taken out of action,,, wounded... done... :-D

  • The entire video is interesting, the music, mood and the scientists all seem to put a bit of hope that there is something great in the far reaches of our solar system, it may even be 20% cooler than Pluto. Then some guy comes up at the end and blows any sort of hope out of the water.

  • Black guy at the end! LOOOOL

  • Advertisement Muted.

  • Neil: Bitch, please. hahahahaha

  • NIBIRU

  • @Bcharris120 Shut up you twat. 3 times further away then Pluto, and 'Niburu' is meant to arrive next year? It's better hurry up.

  • @Ine7tia yeah if thats 3 times away from pluto even back in 08' for it to get here next year it would have to be moving so fast it would fling itself out of the solar system

  • @billlibong I love 2012 theories, so physically impossible, but so many people believe them.

  • @Ine7tia oh i got one that thing that they found in the kuiper belt is an alien mother ship coming to mine earth for resources and exterminate the human race on 12/29/12

  • @billlibong About fucken time dude!

  • @Ine7tia Okay Einstein it may not be Nibiru. Sorry to get you so upset by using your imagination. But if Pluto wasn't in orbit and moving CLOSER to us at a speed of 77,000 MPH, I think it could reach us in a year. Here's the numbers:

if it is 3 times as far as Pluto that means its 13932000000 miles away. Lets assume Nibiru is traveling at 77,000 MPH. That equals exactly 1 year,20 hours, and about 30 min....do the math yourself bitch

  • @Bcharris120 I only said that because it's annoying to see people go 'OMG NIBIRU!' at every star they see and scaring people when it's obvious it doesn't exist.

  • @Ine7tia Who are you to say it doesn't exist? The Samarians say it does. (they knew the exact size of all the planets in our solar system without telescopes, they knew the Sun was the center of the solar system, and we still have no clue how they knew the things they knew) - btw they aren't the only ones that say it exists. Get smart.

  • @Bcharris120 There's been a number of dwarf planets discovered recently, could be one of them that they speak of. The 2012 theory is complete horseshit, actual Mayans place no significance on it, and the ancient Mayans had other measures of time moving past us for tens of thousands of years. If it was as close as people claim it to be, it would be clearly visible to astronomers, and it's not, so it doesn't exist.

  • @Ine7tia They places no significance to it? Wrong. It was the end of a long ass calender. They would have celebrated, built temples, made sacrifices, ect. Mark my words, 2012 will be the weirdest year in a long time.

  • @Bcharris120 They did back then, but other Long Counts exist. Modern Mayans don't.

  • @Bcharris120 Believing in loosely translated Sumerian babble doesn't mean you're smart, buddy. The translations are widely debated amongst scholars. They are inconclusive. All that remains of history is our interpretation and you can manipulate evidence no one else but you can translate fairly easily.

  • @jreed136 I really don't believe in Nibiru, but I do believe that 2012 is gonna be really weird.

  • Better not be Nibiru.

  • @paidrow559 learn how to fucking spell !!!

Are you trying to appear completely illiterate?? Put some effort into your grammar!

  • this is rediculouse. so many realities to challenge so much they know n others are just so obliviouse to the truth but then again since time doesnt exist. it makes sence that people know what they know untill a different time frame

  • Corporations "looks like we found a new planet. so, how many slaves can we get to get there? WAIT! squirrel!"

  • Pluto is The Dog of mickey and a Planet

    Deal with it

  • @Trimere you fail

  • @Trimere i saw a lot comment r like this.. but i dont get it.. arrow on knee... can u explain...? sorry... i know i'm stu**d..... just wanna know.... hehehe

  • @alamakmatila It's a meme from a game called Skyrim. It was funny for about 30 seconds and then after that i was just sick of seeing them.

  • @Trimere Win

  • @Trimere Pluto used to be a planet, but then it took an arrow in the knee.

  • @TheAriedry Toe-may-toe, Toe-mah-toe... same difference.

  • @Trimere Yeah, but it's not what they say :P

  • Trimere is out making arrow to the knee jokes... and what do I get, guard duty...

  • @Trimere I keep seein this arrow to the knee everywhere...then i was playing Skyrim and a soldier said that he was in a war or something until he took an arrow to th knee...Is that where this originated? And what character is it exactly? Or do multiple characters say it?? It's drivin me crazy!

  • @wickedwu22 LoL, yes, it's from the game.

  • who cares if there is 20 new planets right in front of you signing to you,if it will not help me pay our rent,I can care less.

  • @mystic81006 then dont watch these videos and instead go and work and that will help you pay your rent

  • @messi996 I did not say what I did to tell you I dont have a job, lol,I said what I said to wake eople up to what there being sold will not do anything for them,it might do something for the creators, but,in truth,it will do nothing for you,me nore most all people. They take money,to build something just for skill or fun when it will do nothing more then any other air plane. Now consider all the homless peole who can really give a crap about this at all.

  • @mystic81006 i understand your point but think of it this way, if someone said . "no i will not invest in you making this so called "car" others need the money more" then where would we be now? you have to remember if people dont invest then we will never progress any where, there needs to be a trade off, but also you cant just stop putting money into research , because with out that investment i wouldnt be replying to you right now

  • @messi996 I understand that as well, I think there should be some kind of ballance sone how,to where if any man makes a good fortune he must help the homless, now Im not talking about the fake set up charitys, they dont do anything,if they did, there would be no homless at all.I think they must by law help a homless family out or any homless man at that.I see so much money go to waist it's scary.

  • @messi996 And maby ,just maby if people heled people one another instead of waisting money on stupid things like one time I read they spent over a million dollars to raise a new roof that was not even needed, that well, made me sick to read,to spend over a million dollars for something they never needed in the first place. Like the new foot ball statum we have in denver,we never needed it but we spent money on it anyhow.

  • @mystic81006 just to make the a point on the denver football stadium(i am not america so this is partly a guess) i am fairly sure that the football club/loans made by the football club, paid for that. Thats there money, and even if it could be put to better use, its still there money and they have the right to spend how they see fit. To help homeless people, well you have to try yourself to get things done, talking is all well and good, but , actions are alot more important

  • @messi996 Shure its there money,But,its up to people like me and you to remind thease people to help out there country and or the needy,to remind them that thease fake set up so called charitys do nothing at all to help the homless. If we dont remind them, then nothing gets done,I cant do anything my self as a poor man but only help men do what it is they need to do with there money, you understand an little better?

  • @messi996 If no one ever says anything ever, then no one ever helps, and well, I can not live in a world where no one ever says anything,to me,thats a unjust world, and I refuse to live in a world that no one even says anything about the matter. So I OPEN MY MOUTH TO HELP WAKE UP PEOPLE TO THE FACTS.

  • @messi996 Consider all the hungry little children that dont have any food for today, they can care less for this at all, all the people who cant pay there rent, consider them, there are no jobs for them, they can care less for this. My Point is only, for every poinless project, take all that money, and give it to the poor.

  • @mystic81006 The million dollar roof fed the children of the dads who helped build it. More people earn $40k+ today than the whole population of Earth 100 years ago, and the majority back then were poorer than today's poor. After 100,000 years of destitution, a system is finally working for the people, though it can't keep up with the population growth. The main problems are corruption and war/violence, which destroy wealth.
