Killing a lot of the enemy doesn't win you the war, seen clearly by the FRA for not removing the Germans until the U.S. arrived alongside Britain and Canada. And yes, 99% of the work against the Japanese was U.S. Imagine if we had all our forces in Europe, not two complete different theaters of war. Go USA.

@giantWario The U.S. had a strong presence in Europe. In fact out of 91 U.S. Army divisions in WWII 61 served in Europe and 15 in the Mediterranean (compaired to 22 in the Pacific). If you take into account that there were a little over 8 million soldiers in the Army during the entire war that is a huge number. Look it up if you like.
