Exactly. Did you know a cat can jump from the top of the Eiffel Tower and still (in all probability) survive? Their terminal velocity is far smaller than ours, and since their legs can absorb a lot of impact it means they can just walk away (possibly with an injury if the landing wasn't perfect).
