I've been a fan of the Briscoes ever since the first time I saw them wrestle eachother at Honor Invades Boston back in 04 and I'm elated that ROH is focusing on great wrestlers who are also great ENTERTAINERS as well again with them as champs and the return of Kevin Steen.

I love great competetive wrestling, but ROH has seriously had a lack of charm for a long time now by focusing too much on everybody being nothing but competetive and intense. Good thing I've had Chikara to hold me over.

@teflonbilly Well, ROH has lost its most outstanding talent over the last decade (Punk, Joe, Aries, Danielson, Ki, Homicide), so right now, it cannot consider being as phenomenal as it was in 2005-2007. Its piority is on building its new guys right now.

At least long-time guys like Steen and the Briscoes could provide ample entertainment for now, while World Champion Richards could give us some intense title defenses.

Still, won't disagree with you, ROH needs to bounce back from its lull.

I hope Generico isn't written out for too long after that Package Piledriver through the table. Honestly, I thought he was ready to contend for the ROH title after his match with Steen at Final Battle 2010. The guy looked like a main eventer after that. I'm not saying make him champ, but he would fit in on the scene.

@teflonbilly Well, Generico WAS given the World TV Title at Best In The World (I am glad for a mid-card title in ROH now, since I loved the Pure Title when it was around) but was then booked to lose his very first defense to Jay Lethal.

Truth is, I can never see Generico as World Champion, and neither could the ROH fans, which kind of saturated the atmosphere of Generico's World Title matches against Nigel McGuinness. I do like Generico, though. His ROH match with Kota Ibushi was AWESOME.

I like how the view numbers are multiplied by 10 nowadays and people are starting to hate on ROH, while one year ago only some singular TNA marks would casually throw stones at our beloved ROH. It means that this company is growing, and that's a pretty good thing.

@dbzdezz1 yeah they're not really promoting Davey that good since he won the belt. I remember when you coudn't have a single video wire in 2009 or even in 2010 without a really good Richards-promo. I'm also hoping that his title reign will kick into higher gear soon because quite frankly it hasn't been all that great until now. He had 3 title defenses in ROH since he won the belt (not counting outside) and he has already been Champ for 6 month. Other guys had like 10defenses by then.

I haven't seen his matches yet so I don't know about their quality but it's just too few. But maybe that's because ROH lacked serious challengers as of late. Good to have Steen and Hero back. And Lethal is a canditate for Main Event push IMO

This here's a true tag team, with its own unique brand of charm, personality, charisma and goddamn in-ring skill. ROH has always had great tag team wrestling since Aries & Strong held the belts.
