Why is the camera quality so bad? i saw a review video where someone really had 8mps and on the back of the phone it says 8 megapixels but the qualitiy of mine is really bad and many inet pages says 2 mp. pls reply

The phone will only receive analogue signal, so go somewhere with good reception.

Due to a policy that has been put in place recently.

We do allow youtube reviewers review samples but they need to have significantly more than 1000 views per video on average.

The simple truth is our accounting team just questioned the amount that was being spent on review items and the limited benefit we were getting.

has any1 figured out how to turn the phone completely silent? no sounds when playing games, receiving calls, errors, and so on. only managed to turn the calls to silent, the rest all make sound :S

Could I check if you've set the phone to the 'Meeting' profile?

You do need to turn of the sound of the game individually. To do that... go to game, game setting. Then there's an option to turn of the sound there.

To turn off just the keypad noise you can go to profile, customize profile. Then select tone setup and select keypad. The error sound can be found in the extra tone menu.

The product testers recommend AVS Video Converter as conversion software.

One thing to ensure when converting is that you convert it to the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC standard.

1)You can change the ringtones etc by going into profile and then pressing edit and then changing the ringtone there

2) The screen is 2 1/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches.

3) Yes you are able to download wallpaper and games, there are a number of places you can get them from

Just ensure if it is a wallpaper image it is in the JPG format and if it is a game or ap it is in the .Jar format.

You can the put it on your micro SD card. You should be able to install images from the card and install games by going to the FILE icon, locating your file and selecting it.

Java will take over and ask you if you want to install it. Agree and the application will be installed for you.

1) You change the ringtones/SMS-message tone in the profiles setting of the phone.

2) The screen is 1.75 inches by 2.4 inches

3) You place downloaded wallpaper and games onto the SD card. Games should go into the Java/apps file and wallpaper should go into the pictures.

Unfortunately you're not able to stream youtube videos on this phone. We'd recommend downloading them on your computer with a tool like download helper and then transfering it to your phone.

Regarding language for sites. This unit uses the Opera browser, there are several versions preloaded.

The camera does not have a time limit

Yes the battery will run out with wifi and television on but this can be disabled.

Rendering Youtube videos from the internet require a higher processor than this phone has.

No it is not possible to install windows CE on this phone.

Hi! How would you compare this phone to the Voyager phone? I looked on your website and it said the voyager is more popular, but the Thunder i read on another video that you prefer it to the Voyager. I just want a phone that runs smoothly, has good connection, fun features (Accelerometer, etc), and most importantly mimics the iPhone the most. This is an excellent question. While the voyager is the more popular model at the moment it has a lot to do with residual business. The Thunder (And Element) are newer phones and have upgraded features.

The Odyssey, Voyager and Thunder have very similar dimensions.

While we think you will love the Thunder if that is indeed not the case you should be able to resell it online as it is priced so low that it should be able to resold very easily with a resale value that, if not higher is at least as high as your purchase price.

While it is possible to 'hack' the odyssey by flashing the firmware doing this voids the 12 month warranty so we wouldn't recommend doing it.

However there are some cool java aps that you can add to the phone without voiding the warranty.
