You´re so right! I LOVE this song too! It´s among the FEW, very few songs that stay unremoved on my mp3. All other songs, I get tired of sooner or later. But the way this song starts with a quirky, almost naughty guitar sound, then mysterious from 0:40-0:48, then goes faster and faster.....and then stops at "To woh kehne lagi". It´s just amazing!
Can´t explain enough. This song is really such a masterpiece. Nobody else could´ve sung it like Ali bhai. The details.....
..details...for ex. that little "ah" he says before "Jab poocha maine..". And he also says that same "maine" in three different ways with the last one in a higher pitch.
Junoon....gosh! Why, why oh why did they have to break up!!!? My all time favourite band! Oh and not to forget thte great Sabir Zafar who wrote all their lyrics except for when they sang kalaams by Baba Bulleh Shah.
