The investigatory bite theory fell through once they realized lone divers are killed virtually 100% of the time. The animals aren't investigating, they're letting prey bleed out so they can take it soon after without a fight.

wow...I just learned that a part of florida I used to swim all the time you are always pretty much guarunteed to be within 3 meters of a shark. I had no idea they were so common there.

You usally wouldn't notice the shark because they usally swim away from you when they notice you, and most sharks are not a threat to humans. Some might just leave a small cut or with bigger sharks a bigger bite. If you or anyone else has a question about sharks, please ask.

Dolphins are some of the only known animals to attack an kill sharks. There are also killer whales and of course us retarded humans which killed 92% of all the known sharks. We are the reason there is pollution and extinct animals. Poor sharks.

I think you should do some research on shark before you make such a claim. As you quoted "that it doesn't matter if an organism goes extinct unless if it effects us humans at all" sharks are the oceans top predators, so of course they will effect us and many other organisms if they go extinct.

sharks prove that there fish to catch and eat for us "humans". no sharks, no fish or too much fish and the whole eco system goes to hell. then we humans cant do anything to stop the over populated fish. and with that many fish could cause a lot of problems for us humans. there was a time this one country had to deal with a surplus of jelly fish that created a clog in their water system, (dont remember which country or which water system that was affected).

@Drazhenko but sea turltes love jelly fish. However there has been a shortage of sea turtles because humans are screwing with the eco system. so the jelly clog was an end result. Kill the shark, we can expect the same thing as well. Kill shark, its prey becomes too abundant, which then destroys their current home. The prey then moves to another location, only to destroy that home and force the native animals there to move out and find another home. And the chain continues all the way...

Punching the sharks in the gill slits are the most effective. The eyes would be harder to get to becuase most sharks have a protective covering which they slid over there eyes to protect them when they attack. The nose I'm not sure if it would work or not because some marine biolgists think that it works and the other marine biolgists say that "punching a shark in the nose" was a joke they made. I suggest trying the gills and the eyes before you try the nose.
