If I disliked her character before, I definitely didn't like Gweyne's character at the end. Made me feel like she just quit, despite all this strength and courage shit. Weak sauce.

I loved this depressing movie....The critics said this is cheesy and a cliche of a movie...I disagree....since when depressing characters in films have become cliches? I thought that this is what depression looks like and anyone who cannot emphatise .... I don't know...and I'm not going to judge...I guess that sometimes, life becomes kind of a cliche...but I loved it...it was perfectly sad.

This movie made me cry so much. I thought I was the only one blubblering like a baby until I walked past a 60 year old couple when the movie ended. I glanced at them and the old man said, "Dont look at me, I look pitiful". This movie has an amazing story line and amazing emotion behind it. Gwyneth Paltrow's peformance was stunning and amazing. She should win an award fr this movie.

I just saw this movie and I liked it. I don't particularly care for Gwenneth Paltrow but I thought she was good in this. Garrett Hedlund is very talented I think, she sure has beautiful eyes. I think the songs in the movie are good, I grew up with hillbillie, country and the Grand Old Opra stuffed down my throat. I never cared much for it because of that. I listen to it now and see it does have substance and some talented singers. I recommend this movie.
