Matty, the engine doesn't look bad, it's the art used to display in levels that is bad. The engine has got the latest features available in triple A commercial engines.

JHMFX, ambos son muy buenos, shiva ofrece en su version basic cosas que la free d eunity no, como sombras dinamicas, pero por otro lado la version free de Unity es muy buena tambien. Creo que es mas facil de "agarrar" Unity, Shiva tiene un workflow que cuesta entender un poco al principio.

@mattydavid13 : Im very new to game programming so no expert on the subject but I think stuff looks pretty awesome. I think in this video the uploader has used lowe resolution. You can download this technical demo called 'the hunt' from the shiva 3d website, looks pretty decent to me. I gather the game engine is for indie gamers so I wouldnt expect a Crysis 2 from it but otherwise Im quite amazed.
