@Coff33Break89 No that's fantastic! That's exactly what they are for. To inspire people! You've made my day by telling me that so thanks a lot. Keep up the Spanish! You won't regret it!
First off thanks for commenting! Sometimes it feels as if I'm just making these videos for myself ;) My experience with Spanish before immersion was pretty minimal. I'd done a bit of RS and MT - I found MT much more useful than RT. I think Skype and talking to native speakers over the phone is what made it easier for me - that and the site lenguajero. Get Anki and learn the 1000 most used words. There's a bunch of tips on my site myspanishadventure if you're interested.
@willpeachable Thank you so much and I will take that advice. I'm happy you put these videos up. I understand they are sort of for you but they mean a lot to me. They inspire me because I get to see someone actually going on the journey and achieving a something I one day hope to achieve. It's amazing to see you go from your early videos where you posted about not feeling so great and worrying about if immersion will work, to where you are today. You came back from adversity and now look at you!
How much experience did you have with Spanish before you immersed yourself? I'm in the States attempting to learn Spanish. I have Rosetta Stone and Michael Thomas CD's for now. I'm about a week into it and I'm already forming short sentences. I changed my Facebook, cellphone, and Twitter to Español to immerse myself a little more. Any tips my friend?
