@ichiro718 Hold the pick at a slight tilt to the strings, other than that...practice. Do it slow first, then pick up speed on it.

Trym is probably the tightest drummer I have ever heard.. and yeah, they play bm.. and like so many other bm bands they have improved their knowledge of playing.. got more advanced and are breaking the boundarys a little for every album they reliese... I still like them or did until they split up.. ye entrancemperium or whatever is sick

early emperor can be labled i guess, but they have infused their creativity along other genres like progressive and even technical metal, and it all sounds amazing

Emperor are definitely black metal, at least on the first two albums, I haven't heard past that. In fact, some people consider In The Nightside Eclipse to be the definitive Norwegian black metal album. I wouldn't say that, but they are certainly a precursor for pretty much all symphonic bm.

Yes, they are. Maybe you don´t like BM because of the sound, or the ideologic background. But Emperor it´s beyond musical genres, it´s only great music, with a BM format
