  • Wow I got Baby Shivers for Christmas 22 years ago...

  • OMYGOD I HAD THE HOT POTATO GAME!!!!!! but i ran the batteries out so it wouldnt play the music anymore.

  • If it goes kerplunk yer sunk

  • Down with Scrooge McDuck! Occupy the Money Bin!

  • Disney Afternoon! Man I miss my childhood sooo bad.

  • @tcm112280 Me too!! Life was a lot less chaotic

  • I want a hot keys synth

  • I'm glad I was a child when I was this stuff was awsome!

  • I miss these days with a passion, it almost brings a tear to a playa's eye.

  • im all for the mid and somewhat late 90's . I was born May 1990. So i didnt see these commercials. But the 90s commercials had alot of thought put into it. I love those mcdonalds commercials.

  • I was the same age as the kid acted on home alone by mcully kullcan(or however u spell it) great times. Remember all commercials and especially home alone. Went and saw it in theaters with my grandma and uncle. Epic times.

  • I missed the day when Disney Channel featured 90% cartoons and 20% live sitcoms.

  • Early 2000s (2000-2006) were not that bad. But the 80s-90s rock. They were a time to be alive and enjoy meaningful hip-hop and R&B song, interesting sitcoms, cartoons that were entertaining and infromative, and fancy non-sexual clothes.

  • Hot potato looks epic. Period.

  • I use to love Disney Afternoon specially when they added Gooftroops

  • I love the Disney afternoon, now adays theres nothing to watch on tv , I feel sorry for this kids and there crappy sponge bob cartoon...

  • OMG!!! They all bring back memories but that Cheerios commercial def did the trick! I'm 26 now and sometimes I wish I could go back to the early 90s.

  • Thank you :)

  • i miss my childhood

  • Wow, my childhood in one clip! : D

  • Oh, hot potato. One of my childhood fulfillment stories. I actually got it and it was shockingly dull.

  • Wow I had forgotten about Disney afternoon till i saw it here!

  • I have all the little Disney afternoon character figurines. And I remember the game Ker Plunk. Thanks for putting these online.

  • you're makin' me nostalgia all over myself man! i can just picture myself runnin' down those stairs crying to mom to get me whatever toy or game i wanted! i mostly prefered the electronic battery-operated toys, because i loved noise! these today would make a great collectors item. gotta go on ebay! i'm with most of you guys. i can't even find something good to watch today. thank goodness for youtube! it's like my daily dosage of 90's awesomeness!

  • TRACKING!! Sorry, lost it for a second there. There's some fine history here otherwise.

  • I loved baby shivers! I dreamed about getting her for Christmas every night! She was my favorite dolly, ever!

  • Disney Afternoon, damn man, how I miss these days.

  • Being a kid in the early 90s....Priceless

  • what I missed about 90s cereal was ya got free crap in it :( cereal now its like "send 6 proof or purchase + $6.99 for a stamper" :(

  • all the fun music things just play the weels on the bus go round XD

  • I noticed Darkwing Duck in the Disney Afternoon Jingle <3 that is awesome.

  • I had a hot potato! :)

  • @DragonZord90 omg I feel the same way... i bet deep down everyone feels the same now and again... just to relive those happy times...with the economy it just seems so hard but oh well can't live in the past forever. ^__^(even though it would be nice too)

  • I miss the early 90's

  • Gadget is hawt.

  • @DragonZord90 dude your name is Dragon Zord? Wasn't that one of the Power Rangers giant robot attack animals!??!?! lololol Damn I liked Power Rangers! My girlfriend over here remembers kids actually trying to BE Power Rangers, jumping around and doing karate and shit!

  • oh my gosh i remeember the disney afternoon thing! wow i feel old...lol

  • Whatever happened to commercials? This are classics while today's are just retarded

  • @mrsuns10 Some of today's commercials are retarded, but not the kid commercials. Commercials for children haven't changed much, just the tv shows have.

  • i remember getting twin turbo train that christmas lol..i was 6yrs old

  • gidget was my fave :D toys were freaking awesome back then, cereals had toys in them not send off to get and happy meal toys are kick ass :D I miss my childhood now :(

  • lol The Ker Plunk rap.The 90s will be missed.

  • i love the ducktales and talespin, would watch it every afternoon while eatin a hot pocket, drinkin a yoohoo, why don't they show cartoons in the afternoon anymore??they need to come out with these on DVD...so my lil boy can grow up on GOOD tv!!

  • Propellers that actually move?!...No freakin way!!!

  • Wow, I totally remember my mom taking me to the sneak preview night of Home Alone. What an awesome memory to retrieve from childhood!

  • I loved that Disney Afternoon opening! I remember I'd babysit my nieces & nephew and when that came on I'd get them to do a little conga dance to get them all excited! LOL! I was the crazy-fun Aunt back then! Still am today. That Hot Keys Keyboard I got for one of my nephews for Christmas that year, him and the cousins played that thing to death! I loved Disney's Gummi Bears, Ducktales etc! I believe the downfall of cartoons and commercials came in the late 90's. I love these uploads!!

  • These were the golden years of television. The commercials alone are a lot better than most of the crud that passes for television now. Also, I wonder why they took out two of the chefs from the Cinnamon Toast Crunch commercials? Maybe too many chefs really are a bad thing? xD

  • I MISS DISNEY AFTERNOON!

  • tyco toys rule!! jejee

  • 1.51 MOTHER FUCKING AWESOME

Have to go to ebay and check this.

  • I Remember The Disney Afternoon. been 20 years since i saw it last.

  • im 23 now!god so many memorys!!!!

  • Brings back good memories OH YEAH!! :) I was probably in 5th grade coming home from school watching it. I think 1993 may seem right??

  • Hot Potato!!! Holy crap man, I had that!!

  • I had the Twin Turbo Trains. It was one of my favorite toys!

  • "The musical potato action game!"

  • When I have kids,I'm going to show my kids what type of music my generation watched. For no reason.

  • Baby Shivers? Were there any traits of babies that toymakers in the late 80s/early 90s didn't think would be good to creepily copy into expensive, battery-operated dolls? I don't think there was a Baby Spit-Up, but it wouldn't shock me if there was.

I liked Home Alone just fine, but watching that ad, you'd never guess it would end up as the highest-grossing comedy of all-time up to that point.

What time did school get out in Sacramento? 3:00 seems awfully early to start the kids block.

  • Fantastic! I used to watch Disney Afternoon on channel 31, too. Maybe we went to school together. lol

  • Disney Magic >>>> Disney pop.

WHY DISNEY WHY!? WHAT ABOUT THE THE FAMOUS MOUSE???

  • OMG! I had Hot Potato!

  • wow i cant believe mickey mouse was on disney afternoon

  • Two years later in 1992, KRBK would become Sacramento's home for Swans Crossing.

  • Jesus Christ, it's the goddamn moon man!

  • Such quality animation and even the plot I miss it!!!! BTW i believe that ronald mc donald converted to cow worshiping

  • That Hot Keyz synthesizer looks bad ass

  • Did anyone ever eat the Frosted Cheerios

  • @brucewayne2010 Frosted Cheerios are the best!

  • the first kid who loses in hotpotato crys

  • Ah, the 90's...good times

  • "the musical potato action game"

  • I miss the 90's so much. Television and commercials were, BY FAR, of better quality than this wide selection of trash we have today.

  • Wow. Mac Moon.

  • The Kids toys and commmercials and shows of today BAH they're nothing compared to the 80's and 90's

  • GUMMIE BEARS!!!!! My gayest guilty pleasure

  • I used to watch all of the "Disney Afternoon" with my sister while my dad played loud rock music in our living room.

  • I bet a circuit bent hot keyz would be amazing!!

  • @0:51

    OMG ITS OBAMA!

They even have his giant ears!

  • How funny! I had forgotten about all these commercials until just now. Thanks for sharing!

  • that baby was seizin'

  • This reminds of me of WVTV Super 18 at 3:00 p.m. Central time with the Disney Afternoon lineup.

  • Same with you 80scommercialvault the last time I had Apple Cinnamon Cheerios since 1998, I was 8 at the time, and I remember how good it was.

  • At 4:00, the McDonalds commercial is featured. It would appear that Frank Welker voices CosMc.

  • @Rtkat3 Nice.. Welker's been in quite a bit of animated stuff, hasn't he?

  • 3:50 He looks like rick ashley with the guitar or dryall from hall and oates

  • i had hot potato i got for my 6th birthday i think

  • That Disney Afternoon opening clearly shows Darkwing Duck as one of the characters being painted, and yet this was recorded almost a full year before imdb claims Darkwing Duck premiered. Can anyone explain this? Did Disney sit on the show a long time before starting its first season?

  • omg i need a hot keyz keyboard

  • OMG I REMEMBER THAT DISNEY AFTERNOON COMMERCIAL! I REMEMBER MOST OF THESE COMMERCIALS! I miss being a kid.

  • yea no shit as soon as it started playing it came back to me it was like going back in time

  • i miss the animated kid commercials. Now today, kids commercial are all CGI and 3D, just doesn't have the same spark traditional animation gives us. :/ now you only see traditional animation in commercials once in a while and very rare. T-T

  • The 80s and early nineties are what I live for!

  • lol moonman

  • OMG THAT MOON MAN AT THE END USED TO HAUNT MY NIGHMARES!!!

There was also a light in the empty bar in the basement that freaked me out so I had a dream that they battled it out.

  • 0:49 lol

I remember when those things were all the rage.

  • I wanted(and still do want that Hot Potao Game) soo bad:(

  • It would be cool to have it remade.

  • I've always wondered how the animation in cereal commercials is always so fluid. I guess it's because a big budget is put into such a short video, but that would mean they had to draw ALOT of frames

  • Seriously, what happened to TV? I don't think a single one of these commercials are bad at all. In fact, they're all awesome... I just don't get it. Why has television become so.... sour? I guess everybody has just run out of ideas.

  • Blame the nannyism that has ruined America. You can't have cartoon characters selling food anymore, because it makes kids fat.

  • Have you ever noticed that Ronald McDonald is the only character in the McDonald's commercials now? It's like the others don't exist anymore. Grimace will come up every now and then but that's really it. I haven't seen much of the Hamburglar in a while

  • Probably because they retired the Hamburglar.

  • @MFruitProductionsLTD I agree with you. I got ride of cable and dirtv because the rerun the heck out of everything

  • @MFruitProductionsLTD Family values have gone out of TV. The family sitcom has become mostly extinct, for more harding hitting entertainment shows like CSI or 24. Commercials are also about what's hip and what's catchy. With the emergence of computer generated animation, 2-d animation has become more simple and artists go with a more 2-d style since 3-d is now reserved for computer animation like Pixar and Dreamworks films. That is why you don't see great animation like the Disney Afternoon.

  • The Disney Afternoon looks awesome!! What the heck happened to the Disney Channel?? It's awful now! Thank you so much for uploading these commercials. I was born in 1992, so I remember NONE of these, but I love them anyway =)

  • Kid, you missed out on the fun times. I was getting ready to turn 6 at the time these commercials aired on tv. I watch them every time I get on here to take me back to the days of me being in school and waiting for friday so I could go to the grocery store to play street fighter in the arcades, but they took them out of grocery stores and 7-11's because too many kids weren't buying anything and the games were pretty much for customers kids.

  • 0:51 charles is nuch similar to barack obama

  • Hahaha you're right!

  • commercials today are all about irony. thats why theyre different

  • i love early 90's commercials. THey were so colorful and in some cases very artsy.

  • they hardly ever have ronald mcdonald in mcdonalds commercials anymore...maybe wendell killed him, grimice and birdie too

  • The Nostalgia Critic just uncovered the truth: Wendell tossed the corpses of the other two bakers (and the Cookie Cop and the Cookie Crook!) to the bottom of the sea. That bastard must be stopped!

  • So that's why I haven't seen them in a long time. They should make it into a documentary about it. I knew that guy was hiding something from everyone!

  • Oh you guys are full of it. No offense. But you've changed, Not the commercials. You're older now, that's all.

  • How old are you, I wonder? And how much TV have you watched lately?

  • these commercials were fun to watch. commercials today are just empty.

  • "Baby Shivers"???? What the heck?? I have never even seen a newborn shiver. Looked more to me like a seizure.

  • LMFAO@SEISURES

  • The commercial at 3:31 is a true testament to how far weve come..Instead of the music toy now there is Guitar hero ..lol No more rinki dink melodies you can actually play those songs that were made popular when we were growing up!!

  • By "actually play" do you mean sit in front of a TV and press buttons on a guitar shaped remote control?

  • @80sCommercialVault why not? So long its mentally stimulating.

  • @drummerformel We have come a long way. When I was a kid I could have never imagined how fast technology would advance in my lifetime. It's amazing.

  • @drummerformel AND THANK GOD ITS NOT THE CRAP OF TODAY(not that much)

  • @waltermg1 ever stop to think that kids today when they are our age will make videos of commercials and toys of this era? or would they be like "who the f*wants to remember this crap."

  • @drummerformel i had one of the keybords back in 1997 i rermember all those cartoons

  • @drummerformel O.O its just the same..just now... the guitar with the silly melodies don't make a sound...and you just press the buttons that match the color on tv

  • OMG! I had never seen that DuckTales ad. Really, the DVDs should had gotten a lot of extras but for some reason they didn't.

  • Oh man, you have no idea how long I was looking for that "Gummi Bears" bumper!

  • Good ol' claymation. :)

    I used to have KerPlunk.

Even when I was 2, I actually recall seeing MacTonight on the back of a Cheerios box for the General Mills coupons.

  • I remember all of those shows!

  • this stuff is so great. thanks for posting. i totally remember wasting away latchkey kid afternoons watching these...

    breakfast with big cheese lol

  • I remember, in the original Cinnamon toast crunch commercials Wendell had supporting characters, but in 1994 they dropped them for some reason.

I loved the "Tale Spin" bumber, thanks for the memories of being in 2nd grade!!!

  • I forgot how creepy ronald mcdonald was back in the Disney afternoon days

  • ahhh that was disney before Hannah Montana and all this other bullshit took over.

    RIP Disney

  • Yeah, Disney used to make good cartoon series, now they have all this crap to appease "cool teens" and tweens.

  • i agree. kids television is crap. when i have kids im going to show the great shows i watched as a kid.

  • that toy at 1:50 looks so rad!

  • Agreed.

  • It wasn't :(

  • I freaking loved Disney Afternoon when I was six!! 25 now these commercials really bring ya back!

  • Potato action game!

  • You know in the Captain Crunch commercials he is Always eating cereal in weird places..A Cave!!!... WTF?!?

  • Fuck logic he's captain Crunch and he can do what the fuck he wants

  • I remember duck tails, it was my fav show. oh the good old days.

  • Anyone ever notice how in cereal commercial they display a "complete breakfast" to include a glass of orange juice, slices of toast, and sometimes other stuff. Yet the vast majority of us "complete breakfast" means just the cereal with the milk...

  • The least they could have done was to make it more realistic by adding a plate full of bacon and a 20 ounce bowl full of sugar.

  • I've never really believed that "complete breakfast" stuff. They've never had bacon.

  • Batteries not included eh..

  • doesnt the guy in the potato commercial with the pic of the princess person look like barrak obama? 0:50 just look!

  •

That's Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

  • lol oh god that guy must feel stupid now

  • i had a camptain crunch cumputer game i spoent my entire fucking childhood playing,

    i love you man!

  • 3:31 eeeew MIDI music lol

  • Nah, lo-bit music, not MIDI. MIDI is a bit cornier to be honest XD

  • Kerplunk was my favorite game...

  • I had that hot potato game as a kid. Whatever happened to apple and cinnamon Cherrios?

  • As far as I know, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios are still around.

  • In the longer version of Newborn Baby Shivers commercial they go "with a kiss and a hug, I'll keep you warm and snug. My newborn baby shivers"

  • what happened to the cinnamon toast crunch guys? they were killed off along with the the Shreddies guys (Eddy and...)

  • oh those days...rub a dub dolly, new born baby shivers, and mac tonite!!! the disney afternoon cartoons! and don't forget the CTC bakers...is it me or was wendall first calm in the earlier CTC commercials and he started to go loony all of a sudden??***

  • I remember my mum wouldn't buy me Ker Plunk...

  • I remember that Froot Loops added the Green loop sometime, but when exactly? 91? 92?

  • Really, I thought it was later in the decade. Like 97 or 98

  • Oh no, the blue loop was definitely added by 96, and that came after wards

  • I wish they had never added ANY loops. I used to eat it all the time when it was just Cherry, Lemon and Orange. Damn Toucan Sam and his loops of treachery!

  • in 1993 to be exact. I remember because until 1997, my dad would force us to eat nothing but "Fruit Loops" where I got to the point where I just plain hate em.

  • I'm kicking my slef in the ass. This was my VHS tape and I sold it at a yard sale :(

  • This is not your VHS tape. In fact this isn't even from a VHS tape, it's from a Beta tape.

  • Oh yes, Mac Tonite. He was SLICK.

    Classic 90s stuff. What memories.

  • Always thought there was something weird with the other two CTC bakers disappearing and Wendell taking all the spotlight for himself.

  • I know right! I've always tried to get people to remember the other two brothers who made CTC! It was funny how they just dropped them

  • Before Guitar Hero there was Hot Keyz!
