  • Defense of a fellow arab state. Was mubarak a dictator?Yes.Is it better now that he is gone? Not if it is the instinct of intelligent egyptians such as yourself to believe there is some future reckoning with israel to be had.Egypt is and can remain a symbol of what peace can bring a country peace in that region. But that is not helped by revisionist history and talk of Israel falling.

  • there is still a larger war to be fought. Why would you wish that upon your country.it is frankly depressing.I hope you reread all this and rethink your blind patriotism.

  • Whatever gains Egypt made after the war were made diplomatically by recognising the state of israel and singing a long term peace. That is why Egypt was expelled from the arab league and later why Sadat was killed. That is also why Sinai is back in Egyptian hands and egypt has been more or less prosperous and peacefull compared to it's Arab neighbors.Don't be confused.Egypt found peace and strength through peace not war with Israel.

  • Please how dear people speak here about that Israel won in 1973?

Even the commander have admit his lost against Egypt! there is eevn a video about that.

    So who are you?

  • Fake.

  • @askdhuwuw what is fake????

  • @louitarek Fake as can be.

  • @askdhuwuw hey hey hey no one can beat the EGYPTIAN spirit

even the idf and usa soldiers donot have this spirit

  • @louitarek naaaaa.

    ur wrong dude.

  • The IDF is one of the best armies in the world.

    Egyptian soldiers???

  • @v6v10 who said that????

  • well...fuck isreal the only reason they still exist is cuz of US support. w/o that they are nothing

  • well as long as there is US support, israel is still strong.

  • @mza131313 yaaaaa that's right

  • som egybtian troops were surrounded by israely forces in 1967 they without any supplies stand for (180 days). on the other hand israely troops surrounded by egyptian foces inone of the barlive points with all suplies stand for (6 days)

who do you think funny stubied is the cowerd who give the egyptian offecer his dirty flag and bege for his life

  • where did you find this photos funny guy if you have it please send it to me i think you are blind the (men)who always run away is israrls soldiers who even run from childern very very cowerd people

  • Nine Arab states joined the assault on Israel either in direct combat or in defense of Damascus and Cairo. Besides Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq, several other Arab nations were involved in this war, providing additional weapons and financing. The amount of support is uncertain. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait gave financial aid and sent some token forces to join in the battle. Morocco sent three brigades to the front lines; the Palestinians sent troops as well. Pakistan sent sixteen pilots.

  • Israel had the support of the U.S., Britain, France and a guilty Germany as well as an endless international financial network, so don't try to make it seem like the jews accomplished any great victory. The world knows better.

  • R THEY using zsu-57 as long range artillery?

  • Probably, with the proximity fuzes removed.

Keep in mind that the 57mm caliber is not exclusively geared towards anti-aircraft purposes, but also as ground and naval applications.

  • only brave walking soldiers and ordinary people stop the (tanks),the egyptian troops didnot returning back even a centimeter But israel troops return back to a distance of 15 kilo from suze canal. Let me say that this is not my words it is the words of the israel generals.

Please try to read books on this war at the era of war and not at that era at which some people try to encourage by lies the children of israel

  • for biggy899 ,let me help you to refresh your memory

coward (ariel sharon) ran away with very small wound and let anther one to complete the american_planned operation that was to try to enter a city by some (american_israil)forces like a (hostage)and then before egyptian forces destroy it like before,USA forces UN to stop fire to let all forces to return back to old positions but the as you can see the operation failed.

  • The 3rd Army was completely encircled, running out of supplies and ammunition. The only reason Israel didn't crush the army was because of US intervention as a result of Soviet Union's threat to attack Israel if they moves forward. Perhaps you remember the images of Egyptian soldiers running towards UN convoys to get food and water.

  • i have to hand it to the egyptians involved in this operation, its the extent of arab military success against israel. 3 weeks later ariel sharon was standing roughly where these cannons are starving the egyptian 3rd army and ending the egyptian part in the war

  • This video is film made by Egypt AFTER the Yom Kippur war in 1973. Egypt made a lot of film of their infantry crossing the Suez Canal, artillery, and aircraft. It was released to the world and this video is a small piece of that film.

  • this vidio is from year 1973 in the war aganist isreal

  • marines2554 very good. Those are anti-aircraft ZSU-57's however, not ZSU-53's.

  • i might be mistaken, but from 00:05-00:10 i'm fairly certain that those are ZSU-53's. Those are AAA, not exactly the artillery this video is about

  • we had to use everything in our arsenal in our barrage to get our land back from the terrorist zionist state who makes go fight and die for them as a marine. read Israel lobby and US foreign policy. they got careless if a 100000 marines die. enemy of US isnt terrorism its zionism. they killed 100x more than terrorism has or ever will killed.

  • makes you go fight and die for them*

  • um, sorry man, but i'm jewish and as a future marine, i would happily defend the state of israel. besides, the US did no fighting for them whatsoever, we just gave them some equipment to. by the way, was it really worth all the deaths of your countrymen just to "reclaim" some territory for maybe a day or two?

  • we have all our terrirtory till today so its not a day or two. Its sad to see that american jews have lost their status and sayso on israel long time ago american jews could condemn or condone israel and their word was listened too now their ignored and israel ignores all what they say.

  • israel was a good idea it was just handled wrongly from the start, and tbh the israelis do treat the palestinians almost as bad as hitler treated the jews, and u cant say that israel wo8ldve won without US support. in fact israel is only there today cos its up america's arse

  • rustycleat is right. israel is like the mistress of america.

  • it did nothing really the israels still kicked there ass in less time it takes me to take a shit

  • Well if you would research first you would see that Nasser's Army did some kick ass destruction to the Israelis however he had stupid generals, officers, and so on. Soon they just gave up.

  • This is 1973 man, you remember :)) . Egypt won this war and crossed Bar-Lev line in only 6 hours and Israel returned back Sinai in 1979 to prevent another defeat :)). Think again about who kicked who :)) .

  • But in general Israel use to kick egypts (and all their allies) ass...

  • Israel kicked Egypt in 1967 and Egypt returned back the kick in 1973 :) . Another thing most of the world don't know, Egypt was invaded by England and France and Israel in 1956 and we successfully defended our land :) . So I think Israel tries to kick Egypt but Egypt is the one actually kicks Israel in every time.

  • I know you were invaded in 1956, that was be course your leader (cant remember his name) was a maniac!!! he invaded the suez chanal. And as far as I know you didnt kick out France, England and Israel. They just retreated cause' USA told them to. But yeah, thats still kinda you guys that defended your country cause' you must somehow have good connections with USA...

  • Man read some history books please before you post. 1st of all his name was Abd El Nasser, 2nd he wasn't a maniac, 3rd how can we invade our land!! Suez canal is Egyptian land, see the map :), 4th Egypt in the 50s and 60s had the worst connections with USA, we had some good connections with USSR at that time.

  • hm...guess your right, I think I'll read some books about the suez crisis since my knowlegde about the subject is limited.

  • Thanks for understanding. I really respect you. I have a question for, from where are you ? I guess from the name that u r German. I play COD2 and Panzer is a name of a german tank I think.

  • no, im danish (but myf amily is german). My name is actually a big mistake, I should proberly change it to Andreas (my real name). I've played COD2 a lot, but now I play COD4, and yes, Panzer is the german word for tank. And EundzwanzigPanzer is in the memory of the German 21. SS Panzer Devision who mounted a counter attack against british forces at D-day, 21. Panzer got completly destroyed...

  • doesnt panzer stand for armor?

  • well...no, ecxept that armor can mean tank too...but Panzer means tank

  • no panzer does mean armor, what does panzergrenadier mean "tank grenadier"?

  • Well panzerfaust means armoured fist,i think there would be different meaning for it.

  • and if my aunt had bullocks she'd be my uncle

  • Maybe in your fucked up country.

  • @cengkarim Well patriotism seems to have blinded you my friend. You lost in 1967. In 1973 you lost the same land on the west bank of suez than you gained on the east. Israel despite set back at first, returned to get 25 miles from Cairo, had the international community not stepped in, Egypt would have been occupied in 1973. In 1956, yet again you lost it militarily, but because you had favor with the Russians, diplomatic pressure caused UK and france out, but Israel occupied Sinai. Learn facts!

  • @Americano3333 This is a fact, Sinai is returned back to Egypt. Israel didn't achieve its objectives in 1956 and 1967. For sure Egypt lost militarily in 1967 but not politically, the same in 1956 (I'm not sure but I doubt that Egypt lost militarily in 1956) . Actually if you thought about it, Israel didn't achieve anything from the moron moves it did in 1956 and 1967. Sinai and Suez Canal are under Egyptian control, so what did Israel achieve?!

Btw, I'm not patriot at all :)

  • @cengkarim Despite early gains in 1973 due to a very effective suprise attack let us not forget that when the war ened Israeli forces were 100 km from cairo , had occupied 1,600 sq. km. west of the suez and cut of and encricled the egyptian 3rd army.Final casualty figures for egypt are estimated between 5,000 and 15,0000 (egypt has never officially released the figures.) compared to israels 2,800.8,372 egyptions captured compared to 293 Israelis. No room to go on but look into air and sea loss to

  • @cengkarim Oh, and Israel DID achieve it's main objective. It survived.Despite being surrounded by Millions of arabs who's goverments publicly declared they would drive the Jews into the sea. They may have gotten their nose bloodied at the beggining of 1973, but the state of Israel not only survived that, but all the attacks before and since. They not only survived but they forced their enemies to recognised their existence if not their RIGHT to exist. For 60 years Israel has thrived. That is victory

  • @anthimos112 Well, your reply proved that Egypt won the war. How come isreal won when "surviving"?!, israel struggles to survive and still tries to survive. BTW, Egypt didn't recognize israel, it is sadat who did. About those "60" years, if we assumed that you are right (Which apparently not) and israel won, it is a temporary victory. Our (Egyptians) history extends for 7,000 years, 60 years is an eye blink for us, nothing compared to our history. FYI, we recognize Jews but not zionists.

  • @cengkarim Listen you're obviously too caught up in your nationalistic pride to be objective.I've laid out the numbers for you, the fact that Israel still exists despites being surrounded by enemies, the fact that egypt is and has been at peace with Israel for years. As for whether egypt recognises Israel or not, .On 26th of March 1979 the legal and recognised head of goverment for egypt signed a internationally legal teaty with Israel.Which every egyptian leader since has honored.

  • @anthimos112 As I said before, those numbers means nothing compared to our (Egyptians) history. Such a tiny era will pass, and zionists will pass with it, we faced much more dangerous threats and we overcome them, you can revise history (you'll need too much time and resources, remember, 7,000 years). just a question, "every Egyptian leader since has honored", :D can you state "those" Egyptian leaders :D, I dare you can, it was only the sadat and the dictator israeli agent mobarak.

  • @anthimos112 You believed your lies and trying to prove it to the world. israel can't and won't survive for long, this is the fact you are refusing to accept. Sooner or later America will lose interest in the Middle East's oil and will abandon israel. Then, the stolen land will be returned back to us (Arabs).

  • @cengkarim I see now this is pointless. You let bias and hatred form your view on politics and history.Egypt indeed has a proud and long history and does not need revisionists like yourself to rewrite it's wars and decrie its peace.I shudder to think that those taking power in Egypt today are of your mind.Thinking like yours can bring only grief to a country that peace has allowed to become one of the most modern in the region.I will no longer participate in this useless argument.

  • @anthimos112 How said I'm writing or revising my history?! At last you realized that this is a useless argument because this is a fact, israel lost, is losing and will lose, keep this in mind.

  • @cengkarim How are you revising history?Well please explain to me the criteria for this victory you claim.Egypt had more men killed, captured, and injured than Israel.Egypt lost more aircraft than Israel.Egypt lost more ships than Israel.By the end of the war israel occupied more enemy territory than egypt, was about 100 km from Cairo and had surrounded and cut off the bulk of the egyptian army.As for Sinai that was a negotiated withdrawel that had less to do with the war and more with sadats....

  • @anthimos112 willingness to sit down with israel and negotiate. The war ended in 73 the camp david accords started the withdrawl of Israeli troops in 79, which ened in 82.That hardly seems like they were pushed out by egypt.I am really trying to be respectful here but you're pride in your country is blinding you to reality. Please research and tell me if any claims I have made are wrong but if you do back it up with something more than wishfull thinking.Everything I have claimed can be verified...

  • @anthimos112 In war, a nation can win and lose battles. Those numbers are just the result of one battle. At the end, Egypt won by gaining back the land stolen by israel. Another thing, those numbers means nothing to us (As I keep saying) we are more than 80,000,000, such numbers are just a very tiny ratio, we didn't feel the loss of such battle but we felt the final result of the war by returning back our Sinai.

  • @cengkarim If you insist deciding the results by numbers of casualties, then you are simply saying that allies lost WW2!

  • @cengkarim That would be the case if the war didn't end with allied troops in Berlin. If Egyptian troops had ended up in Tel Aviv than loses would have been irrelevent. You really are grasping at straws.Goodbye.Whatever you say after this you say to yourself.I hope it makes you a prouder egyptian.

  • @anthimos112 Who said 1973 war goals was to reach tel aviv?!! The war purpose was to return back Sinai, which is achieved, Egypt won by the end.

  • @cengkarim It was an analogy. Please read over all you have written. Is it this important to believe you forced something from Israel rather than got it through peaceful negotiation when force failed? Is it so wrong to believe that the goal was achieved through discussion rather war that you would rather ignore numbers and facts than admit you didn't score some crusdhing victory that forced Israel to run tail between there legs from Sinai?30 years of peace and you talk as if ....

  • @anthimos112 I'm sure you don't know anything about Egypt cuz you keep mentioning the 30 years of peace and prosperous we lived! Those 30 years was just peace for israel but not for Egypt. Egypt was rulled by a dictator who forced Egyptians to accept this treaty so that he can gain America's support and stay in power. It was the worst 30 years in Egypt's history. We care about result, by force or negotiations, the war achieved its goal, Sinai.

  • @cengkarim I assure you while our opinions differ, I am educated and well informed.Has egypt been a perfect place for the last 30 years? No.But it HAS known a peace in that 30 years few Arab countries can match. While Iran and Iraq fought Egypt prospered. While Lebanon went through 15 years of civil war Egypt prospered. When Iran fell to bloody revolution Egypt prospered. When Yemen went though civil war Egypt prospered. When Iraq invaded Kuwait Egypt was in a position to greatly contribute to the ...

  • @anthimos112 Again you proved you don't know anyting about Egypt, you may be educated but you are misinformed. Egypt is now in a state that is much much worse than Egypt's state in 1967. Corruption reached the core of the country. It was 30 years of israeli bribes to mobarak to destroy Egypt's infrastructure and backbone. If you think those 30 years of "No War" state is a prosperous and peaceful, then you are wrong.

  • @anthimos112 "He who gives up freedom for safety deserves neither.", Benjamin Franklin.

  • @cengkarim you are purposefully missing the point of all I've been trying to say.your way is set.Your mind fixed.I truly no longer wish to have this discussion.Good luck.

  • @anthimos112 And you are trying to prove false and misleading information. Good luck you too.

  • @anthimos112 So what!! We got Sinai by force or not doesn't matter, what matters is we got Sinai after the war. 1973 War served its purpose. Have a nice day.

  • @cengkarim by public record.Try reading an account not written in egypt.I remind you that General Saad El Shazly's book were he pointed out the Egyptian armys shortcomings in the war was banned in Egypt.I must stop with this debate.Your talk of "Zionists" and "stolen land being returned to us" and the abandonment of israel make me uncomfortable and depressed.I sincerely hope most egyptians are too busy looking to a better future rather than rewriting their past.

  • @anthimos112 If you read General Saad El Shazly's book, then for sure you know that war has a political goals, if those goals weren't achieved, then this war is lost, even if won militarily which is the case in Egypt-israel conflict. We care about final result. And thanks anyway for you being respectful enough, I appreciate it.

  • Egypt won the war

  • I think you need a girlfriend
