So does every croat wish, but the fact is, you're wrong. He was BORN to Serbian parents, on Austro Hungarian territory back then, which is ONLY geographically in croatia today. His father was an Orthodox priest, and both parents were originally from the western part of Serbia. tesla himself has proclaimed that he is a Serbian (and Orthodox in faith). According to his last will, his remains were to be placed in Serbia, not Croatia.

Even wikipedia cites him as being a Serb.
