fucking hilarious! setting up the camera to film urself in a "peaceful and contemplative state" to show the world! u look like silent bob! haha! this guy is hilarious!
I'm sorry if this is a bit of a rant but one thing that really burns me on Youtube is people putting music on their videos and not giving proper respects to the people who made the music by naming them.
This song is "a baby-sitting song(KOMORIUTA)" in "the old Japanese folk song(MINYOU)".
There are many unclear points, and that episode spreads in Edo about 300 years ago, and it is said that it spread out to the Japanese whole country about it.
Sugoi! Kirei! I love your video! five star! I love all things Japanese. The culture, the language, and the anime/mangas. But most of all their music and gardens.

A singer doesn't know it.
There is no "copyright" in this song with being natural.
We have a Japanese Garden on our uni campus. I, by coincidence actually went there today for the first time in a long while to do just what you did. CHILL!!!!
This was just beautiful, Blunty. Great camera work and editing, and I enjoyed the music too.
I love Japanese gardens, too. My favorite part of the Chicago Botanic Gardens is their Japanese garden, but I must say the one in your vid is even more lovely.
Anyone watching this should now watch the film, Lost In Translation. There's a superb scene where Charlotte visits a garden/temple where a wedding is taking place. The music is "Lost In Kyoto" by Air. Just do it.
Wow. that was 5 min. of my life I'll never get back. A guy walking around, sitting down over and over. Nice garden, but kept waiting for him to take his shirt off. C'mon, give us SOMETHING. boring. S L O W music.
I live in Kyoto, and I never get tired of the beauty of Japanese garden design. So simple, yet so complex. When (If) I move back to Australia, I'll be creating a Zen garden of my own.
Oh wow... that place is just beautiful. I would love to go there someday; and even better yet, I agree, I'd love to have my own little Japanese garden someday.
royal gardens? huh. we ain't got no royalty here in the states. just movie stars. BUT... That Place Looks Very FINE. Was that a miniature Fujiyama? Very sweet camera work. How'd you make yourself look so Nipponese?
yes, what was that song? i have been looking for music like that, but it is very hard to even start searching for it, when i dont even know what genre to look under! whats the name of that song/artist, Blunty?
I always planned to have my room set up as a traditional Japanese room with tatami and kotatsu and everything...but both of those are so expensive to ship from Japan. I should settle for a relaxing garden instead.
Really really nice garden you have there, I can see your point.. it surely looks like the ultimate place to go when you need to take a break, separate yourself from everyday life and just relaz completely!
Looks like a lovely place to visit... I love those bamboo water thingy's... Was it possible to completely unwind there, or was there always a constant worry if someone was going to nick your camera from across the pond?
whoa dude u look so wise in ur state of meditation...almost like u were really meditating..LMFAO

"KOMORIUTA" was made in various provinces in Japan.
This song is generally called "KOMORIUTA of Edo(Tokyo)".
In addition, "KOMORIUTA of Takeda" in the Takeda area near
Kyoto is famous.
Moreover, "KOMORIUTA of Itsuki" in the Itsuki area in Kumamoto
is excellent.

I could care less about that feng shi stuff - I find the japanese garden blissful simply because of the beutiful asthetic and the use of water etc.

Sadly the mic on my can is shitty - so the usual beutiful sound of that falling water wasn't captured very well.

it's very nice but maybe it could have been better if you used the natural sounds of it. but nice anyway!
emmanuel12345 5 years ago
Sadly the mic on my cam is so shitty it simply doesn't to the natural sound justice - hence the music instead.
