I just got back from the Philippines and there are so many goodies there! I really enjoy how you show us every aspect of the food. That Sampaloc actually might be something that is popular and tradition in Mexico called Tamarindo! It is very delicious. And like the rest of us, it would be awesome for you to try some Mexican candy.

omg! threes a Mexican candy (i believe) that i think is called la Rosa and its peanut confectionery ( i think) and there soo yummy and sometimes there covered in chocolate and sometimes there just regular and that little crumbly bar made me think of it!
