    Don't know that we gave them independence..

    Still funny to see all those british who laugh about french army, they forget who help them against the Scandinavians in 1066 :( and who kick their ass of America..

  • At colonial times they were kick ass. WWII they were wimps (Not the resistance or army the gov. was the wimps) and now they are kick ass again

  • @9randyman It's true, people rag on France, but for much of the 17th, 18th, and up into the 19th Century, they set the standard for Military prowess across the globe. In fact, during the War of 1812, the drill manual for training troops was an exact copy of the French drill manual, copied over into English by a man named Smyth. And during the Civil War, both sides borrowed heavily from French uniforms as inspiration for their uniforms.

  • its acualy "Le premier symphonie de fanfaire" by Jean Joseph Mouret arranged in 1729. my french spelling is terrible btw i havnt had much practice.

    Translation :

    - French Canada was the place where a well famed French Regiment was disbanded : Le Royal Berry, also known by its nickname : The White Asses ... due to the white unifoem
