  • Looks like a 300C from what I can see...

  • hoefully bu then im death ,,cause i cant stand all the people around me texting non stop ..now i imagine all people walking with this damm shades + texting...ohhh boy

  • This would work very well with a system I have thought of for making and watching movies and I have written an article about it. I can't give the ip address here but the title is "Virtual Space - the movies of the future" and it can be found with Google.

  • @DoctorSyn2: Virtual Reality and VR games in arcades has been out since the late 80's, early 90's. Tons of movies on the subject.. Lawnmower Man ?

  • Ok, anyone with common sense (whats so common about people having sense) would know its not a good idea to walk about with halve your view abscured, as for what HMD are good for is obviously Immersive interactive experience.

But the problem is the fact that Most Hmd promise a very non immersive experience, ala 52" tv from 6 ft away stuff. not really good. its time HMD manufactures step up to the plate and deliver 120degree FOV stereo3d with headtracking. True VR not virtual lcd

  • this product will eventually cause more death count annually. if you ask why i said so, than i will tell you this:"think logically.

  • THANKS MAN NOW I CAN WATCH PORN WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT!!!!!!!!!

  • The glasses would be very useful in a new method of making and viewing movies which I have described in an article "Virtual Space - the movies of the future" and posted on the Internet. I am not allowed to put the ip address here but you can find it with Google.

  • i purchased this only to learn that 3D was NOT flicker-free in all 3D modes it offered!

Expensive 2D novelty - if you wanna squander your money and you have lots of it to kiss goodbye!

  • Didn't your mum tell you if your too close to the tv your eyes will go square.....

  • yeah great, spend a lot of money just to fuck up your vision, and spend more money on the goodamn doctor...

  • HOW MUCH IS IT??

  • Right....???? can wait to see the first douche walking in the street or having a cafe at Starbuck, so I could walk up to him and ask:

"Tell me do you need that bad to draw the attention to yourself!"

  • when i become 20......im gonna invent the igun.its an hd digital gun with apps including: Flame Bullets,Extra Damage,Sleight Of Hand perk,AND you could watch youtube on it!!!......and u could kill people, but thats boring stuff when you could watch some yotube :D

  • who the fuck will walk down the street

  • Just imagine all the uses, in combination with augmented reallity......

  • cyclops from xmen lol

  • =) one of d way to ruin ur vision?

  • this techonogly might not be quite there with the likes of 120HZ but it's a damm sight cheaper and there are adaptors out there so these can be connected to HDMI Sources so things like BD can be used. I am seriously considering in a few months to get a set they will continue to drop now with the release of 3Dtv

  • how can ppl with glasses use this ?

  • @yourtube20061 I didn't design this but If I would have created the software for it, I would have established an option for people who wear glasses. The screen would have some kind of manual focus adjustment setting to the prescription level of the individual so that he/she will not require glasses to view the image.

  • how much would a pair of those things cost?

  • U know how they say never stay to close to a TV when ur watching it. Well what about these glasses arent they really bad for ur eyes, or couldent they ruin ur eyes.

  • this is probably going to be one of the reason people die cause there busy looking at what they are watching on there gay looking spy glasses instead of the street light

  • when all ppl have this glasses on the street will be "cool" :P

  • i heard it doesnt look bigger than a iphone or a 15 inch plasma.

how come i never see it on tv, or hear ppl about this in real life? guess it sucks right?

  • i thought it was supposed to be like watching a virtual 62" tv

  • bentley or rolls? how can you not tell the difference !?

  • If Oprah is pimping this stuff, I think it's about time to invest in this company. Or at least a basket of companies that produce similar technology. This is pretty much the new display paradigm.

  • neeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrdddddddddddssssssssss

  • vuzix has a new product known at the "wrap" which are normal vuzix headsets but the look identicle to sunglasses. the wrap also supports 3d

  • great. Well, new technologies are coming to our lifes. We have to be prepared to control it well. This looks fun, but... in the end, what is the real porpouse... every time humans wants to get more close to the images, just when images are just around... cool stuff. i want one of this... i wanna work improving tecnologies

  • It looks like he's using the AV920 but he says they have OLED and the AV920 are LED which gets me confused:/ Which model is he using?

  • one word ... porn

  • @dontcensorthetruth why? Why?? WHY?! Why did you mention that. I own one and now I fear all I will use it for is porn.

  • @ontariobuds if you didn't think of that yourself, your prolly asexual.. Just saying!

  • @dextercf to be honest I don't even enjoy watching it at all, the iWear not porn.

  • This is get when ur on the plane. I was tempted to buy this but I hate buying things when they're new. I'll wait it out until it's cheaper. That's what I did with my itouch and it's better cuz the company has a chance to fix the kinks.

  • ''while i do look like Jordy from star trek.. the concept is very appealing'' i cant wait untill people start rockin these everyday

  • Looks like that's filmed in New Burlington street, London.

  • coudl anyone tell me what is the purpose of this product? i mean, why would you use this glasses when you have a tv ?

  • Can your TV produce 3D images? is it portable enough to carry around with you?

  • does your tv weight less than 10 pounds?

  • can you take a 62" tv and watch movies on it while traveling? lol

  • jap, useless, if u can take ur tv on a plane and it works u dont need this..

  • nopp

  • exactly 16000 views!

  • i was wondering (wasn't paying attention) but are these like a 50-50 view, where as the screen opacity is slightly less so you can view past the screen and see the real world?

  • its just like ur eyeballs, u see 80% of the full view with one eyeball closed, and 100% with both eyes open

  • Im sorry to bust your english muffins but this vuzix thing is garbage. One little bump it can be moved off your face, to much lights gets in the way from both sides top and bottom, light in the thing can burn out after a 1000 plus hours of using. The headplay is the most dominant gadget out there. I have both of these.

  • Oh boy gee, we sure will look cool when we are cruising down the road watching our iWears in our iCar, with our iPhone as we eat our iWhoppers. Don't forget our HD tvs, HD monitors, HD dvds, HD milkshakes and HD happymeals..

  • things in real life are HD thats the point of buying a HD tv to make it look more realistic

  • @andlastly Don't forget about Kent HD cigarettes.

  • @andlastly oh, add 3-D to all of that too, and an adjective of choice - mindblowing, timebending, blah blah blah....

  • @andlastly

With Our iClothes and our iBags. And your iDefinatleyNeedALife And Don't forget your iShit. My favorite iLife. And iSpace.

  • wow I want one.... really awesome...

  • what kind of connections does it have and power supply ? it would be nice to just minimize the screen when not in use

  • What if you were to put small cameras on them that in realtime mapped the surrounding environment into a 3d-replica model that is then viewed in the glasses as the movement of your head is tracked and positioned as two artificial cameras representing what will be seen through your eyes. You would then be able to manipulate anything around you by interacting with the system, perhaps with your hands that (that is mapped and recognized) with which you touch menus in the air infront of you as 1 ex.

  • Then... real life would become obsolete...

  • ...or enhanced

  • true

  • welcome to augmented reality....

  • welcome to augmented reality...in some years it will be ubiquitous, keep the story of mobile phones in mind

  • god dammit that its unnassesery

like what about you standing and waiting ón the bus and turn em on. and then samone give you a punch in the stomach.

  • if sumbody walks down on the street he can bump into a tree or person or fall into an open manhole!

  • they said the same thing when the first walkmans came out

  • for what devices does it work on?

  • one day we will have this stuff built into our glasses

  • There is already a technology that let's you see 2 screens.... I mean like... It's like a contact lens, you wear it, and you can see 2 pictures at once. :]

  • I Can watch tv while im lying down..COOL!

  • what about people who need glasses???? how will u be able to use them? :/

  • On the website it says that you can use them with glasses :)

  • They fit over glasses

  • does that staff damages the eyes? i m getting one soon

  • It's porn on the go

  • lmao

  • W00T! ! ! LoL

  • Haha awesome idea =D

  • Hope he doesn't walk into the street with that thing on o.o

  • lol agree

  • Is this not realy bad for your eyes?
